    Isabell Huppert va a encarnar a la Condesa Elizabeth Báthory, a las órdenes de Ulkire Ottinger. El guión del proyecto corre a cargo de Ottinger y de la ganadora del Nobel, Elfriede Jelinek.

    Birgit Minichmayr (La caída), Lars Eidinger (Viaje a Sils Maria) y Thomas Schubert (Cielo rojo) también están en el reparto.
