Now look at the detail. And if you'll notice, this is a 2.35:1 movie. See any gray bars at the top and bottom? Nope. They aren't really there. The empty space for the wider formats was so dark that I could barely tell that from the velvet frame below. It's not a camera trick.







Of course I have taken some HDTV shots as well. These again are from a DVHS tape. The first you will see is a black screen shot with a title. Notice how black it actually is. Again, this is not a camera trick.
