Pues yo sigo igual con el Apple TV, pero he visto algo nuevo:
Si la interfaz del Apple TV está en SDR, no cambia a HDR
Si la interfaz está en HDR o en Dolby Vision, sí cambia a HDR (en alguna prueba que he hecho no cambiaban bien en Dolby Vision)
Así que no sé qué puede ser...

Pues que el cambio automático de rango dinámico no lo han implementado bien en la app del Apple TV. El cambio automático de fotogramas si lo hace bien.
Por otro lado, Skyshowtime de momento no ofrece contenido en DV, solo en HDR10.
