He visto hoy esta foto y de paso recordamos que Dennis Muren fue el primer artista visual en tener estrella en el paseo de la fama en junio de 1999. Al acto acudieron George Lucas y James Cameron para cuyas producciones trabajó en los episodios IV, V, VI, I (el II en ese momento aún no estaba en marcha), Templo maldito, Abyss y Terminator 2.

Entrevista a Gary Kurtz, productor de los episodios IV y V, intentando aclarar algunos mitos sobre la creación de SW y su separación de Lucas.
Se sabía que había dirigido la 2a unidad de algunas escenas del V pero es interesante que cite por ejemplo la de Luke y el Wampa.

Madrid (Europa Press).- El candidato del Partido de Internet de Ucrania, Darth Alekseyevich Vader, ha depositado su papeleta en las elecciones parlamentarias que se celebran este domingo en Ucrania bajo la promesa de convertir el país en "un imperio galáctico" en el que "los diputados serán sustituidos por ordenadores", según declaraciones recogidas por Russia Today.
Vader --que se cambió legalmente su antiguo nombre de Viktor Shevchenko, electricista de profesión-- ha hecho acto de presencia en el colegio electoral ataviado con la clásica armadura del mítico personaje de 'La Guerra de las Galaxias'.
"Cuando llegue al Parlamento, expulsaré a todos los diputados. Han demostrado su inutilidad", declaró ayer durante su desfile de final de campaña en Kiev, flanqueado por tropas imperiales. "Los ordenadores trabajarán en su lugar, y cumplirán incesantemente sus funciones", amenazó el señor oscuro.
A pesar de que las encuestas juegan en contra de Lord Vader y de su compañero de candidatura, Stepan Chewbacca, el candidato del Partido de Internet se mantiene incólume en su deseo de conquistar el Parlamento y contar con una presencia permanente en la política ucraniana, a pesar de que su negativa a enseñar su rostro le impidió participar en las presidenciales del pasado mes de mayo.
Si su partido llega a la cámara, Vader se ha comprometido a presentar una moción para recuperar Crimea, ahora parte de la Federación Rusa y derrotar a los separatistas prorrusos del este del país. Ya veréis cómo dentro de poco vemos algo así por aquí (bueno, ya tuvimos a Ruiz Mateos, que quiso hacer carrera en la política, y su disfraz de Superman
Vamos, yo votaba a Vader sin dudarlo, alguien con las ideas claras, serio (no acepta fracasos de ningun tipo, solo sirve la excelencia) y con fe! Ademas, crearia muchos puestos de trabajo para construir sus estaciones de combate y vigilancia, y para sus cargos superiores, que cada 5 minutos dimiten por la Fuerza, literalmente
