Anyway on the subject of casting. Even though the Tom Welling/Alfred Gough rumour was shot down days ago, I can say that Welling is among the bunch who is trying out this week to don the cape. Don't know how, so don't ask, but he's in there all right along with McG's favourite Henry Cavill.

Did Gyllenhaal test? Apparently (despite his recent comments to the contrary). Is he among the new bunch? No. Kutcher and Fraser are likely canditates to have tested again but whether they have or not remains to be seen. Eion Bailey is testing also.

Here's the thing: Biggie Fan Favourite Tom Welling's "Smallville" schedule is being worked out to see if he can shoot "Superman" and also do the show. Warners are seriously considering the idea of Welling doing both the show and the movie, even though he doesn't want too. Welling may have gotten a push though, from someone or something - and a big one at that.

The other roles? HELL NO! The biggie's on Supes right now. Depp is still involved (either as Luthor or Jor-El) etc., etc. The WB wants to cast Supes and he WILL be cast. Think June-August soon....or sooner"<hr></blockquote>
