pos eso q en la remodelación de Byrne se surpimió de inicio la etapa como superboy pero superboy si existîa en la época de Byrne (sino como explicamos el nacimiento de la legión) sólo q formaba parte del universo de bolsillo del señor del tiempo.
De echo hasta se produjo un enfrentamiento memorable entre el supes y su miniyo dibujado y guionizado por el Byrne.

Superman-V.com are reporting that Brandon Routh, who tested for the role in June (when McG was attached), is meeting with new-director Bryan Singer. Apparently he won't have to read for the part, which is a good sign for him. Second callback sounds promising.

"Superman Returns" - set to lens under the working title of "Unbelievable" - starts filming in Australia later this year.<hr></blockquote>

Vamos a ver. Entre la juventud de Superman y su madurez no hay tanta diferencia temporal. Hay 15 años, tirando largo, de "tiempo real". No mas. Pues si se trata de actualizar al personaje solo hay que hacerlo vivir su juventud en los noventa, y su madurez en los primeros años del nuevo milenio.

De no ser asi, ya las primeras peliculas estaban muy desfasadas de su tiempo. Superman vivia los 80 y casi 90. Se desfasaba 50 años de nada.

Creo logico que ahora se situe al personaje en la actualidad. Hoy, el personaje no puede mantener sus origenes exactos. Lo mejor de los superheroes es su atemporalidad. Nos gustaron ayer, nos gustan hoy y nos gustaran mañana. Y para conservarlos, y hacerlos vivir durante generaciones hay que "resituar" sus origenes trasladandolos a la actualidad. Mas o menos cada 20 años. No podriamos creer un personaje como Superman (o Batman o cualquiera), a dia de hoy, si pensamos cuales son sus origenes primeros, pues tendria ya sesenta años y el traje seguramente no les quedaria igual...

La actualizacion de los personajes es algo inevitable y necesario, nos guste o no. Eso no quiere decir que no valga lo hecho anteriormente. Solo que la historia mas coherente seria la que arranque en la actualidad.

Y yo tengo comics de Superman casi desde que tengo uso de razon, pero asumo que seria increible considerar que el personaje nacio hace un chorro de años y vive en la actualidad (o segun el nivel tecnologico que emplean los personajes ultimamente, en un proximo futuro) aun como superheroe. No soy defensor de las continuidades eternas en comics y de defender tiempos pasados como mejores porque eso siempre queda muy "cool".

Creo que lo bueno de estos personajes es que siempre hayan historias que contar sobre ellos. Y que estas nos emociones y nos sorprendan como nuevas que son.

Porque si tuvieramos que dejar a cada personaje en su epoca, me da a mi que al margen de Spawn (90) y Hellboy, pocos iban a vivir hoy medianamente conocidos...

Creo que esta pelicula es la GRAN CAGADA desde el principio por el tipo de casting que esta saliendo, son todo niños!!!!!, esta bien que intenten atraer a las jovencitas, pero poner a un tio tan joven de Superman, no se, no me cuadra nada, y mas si tenemos el antecedente de Donner.

Pues cuando empezó a rodar debía tener entre 25-26 dependiendo cuando comenzara el rodaje, así que era muy jovencito.

y en el comic cuando Clark se va a Metropolis tambien es un jovencito, otra cosa es que luego en los comics haya ido creciendo, pero no me parece anormal que pongan a un tio de 25-28 años

"According to our "colleague" Michael became a bit nervous and hesitant about talking about Superman and simply said: "Sorry, I cant talk about it." So the follow up question was: " Are you involved with the movie." And he responded :" Sorry, I can't talk about it.." with a grin in his face."

Rosenbaum loves taking the piss, so it's possible he's just trying to start some chatter, if not, is it possible he's in talks to play Lex Luthor in Bryan Singers film too? After all, you can't have Tom Welling's Clark, without Rosebaum's Lex, can you?

Personally I doubt it very much. Unless they do some flashbacks to a young Lex and young Clark and have the "Smallville" kids cameo. Other than that, can't see a multi-million dollar pic putting all their eggs in a WB show casts basket.<hr></blockquote>

Aunque no me pareceria desacertada la eleccion de Tom Welling para el papel de Superman en la pelicula, si me lo pareceria del de Rosenbaum.

No creo que este chaval tenga consistencia y hechuras de gran villano en la pantalla grande (aunque me encante en la pequeña). Considero que hay actores mas preparados y carismaticos para el papel, que cuadrarian con el personaje perfectamente tan solo afeitandoles la cabeza.

Y eso creo que es crucial , pues si algo no me gusta de Superman I y II es el personaje de Lex Luthor con pelo. Y mira que me gusta Gene Hackman y he visto las pelis unas mil veces, pero nunca me gusto...

Yo esque no veo a Hackman como un autentico Luthor, mas bien como la version comica de Luthor, porque nunca llego a transmitir la esencia de maldad pura y dura del personaje.

¿Quienes creeis que podrian hacer un buen o gran papel como Lex Luthor hoy por hoy en la gran pantalla? Yo es conocido no veo a nadie ahora mismo.

Yo creo que Bruce Willis o incluso Kevin Spacey, ganando un poco más de cuerpo, podrían dar muy bien el pego.

Y si no hubieran cogido ya a Michael Chiklis para hacer de Ben Grimm en Los 4 F. sería perfecto, con lo joputa que es en la fantástica "The Shield".

They don't want it getting out obviously. So that's all there is to that.

At this stage, I don't think the film is going to have any link to the series - besides a couple of behind the scenes players - with Welling simply one of many testing. At least three clients that I know of have also tested. Singer's after an unknown - so every talent manager in town is trying to get their clients a look in. Colin Hanks is a favorite for the Jimmy Olsen part I hear (Adam Brody from The OC was in the running too, but I believe there's a conflict) while every vet actor in town (Keith David, Gary Cole, Robert Burke, John Saxon...the list goes on) is up for Jonathan Kent. I think what the deal is that they want to surround an unknown with slightly more marketable names...for instance, folks like Patrick Stewart (who is apparently singer's fave for Jor-El) would have more pull at the b.o."

Will any of these names make the final cast? I have a hard time believing that Patrick Stewart would take on another comic book movie, but Singer does like working with Patrick Stewart. All the other actors seem like a possibilities. I am going to take a rip a line from the FOX News Channel...WE REPORT, YOU DECIDE . <hr></blockquote>
