Gracias por poner dos de mis favoritas, chicos: "Wouldn't It Be Nice", que como bien dice tomaszapa abre la obra maestra del grupo, "Pet Sounds" (en las listas que se hacen de mejores álbumes de la historia siempre suele estar entre los tres primeros).
Y por supuesto, la maravollosa "God Only Knows", en mi opinión la mejor del álbum y una de las mejores canciones pop de la historia (Paul McCartney la declaró la mejor cuando salió en 1966, y reconoce que "Pet Sounds" fue una gran inspiración para "Sgt. Pepper's...").

"Heroes and Villains" también me encanta, pero a la vez me produce tristeza porque iba a ser parte de la gran obra de Brian Wilson, "Smile", el disco que seguiría a "Pet Sounds". Pero a mitad del proyecto se hundió en una grave depresión (en parte por escuchar el "Sgt. Pepper", ante el cual no se vio capaz de competir). Ahora se ha editado una versión con el material que había, pero obviamente no es lo mismo que Brian tenía en su cabeza.

Y otro tema del Pet Sounds que me encanta es "I'm Waiting for the day", que alrededor de una estupenda percusión construye una compleja melodía en dos ritmos diferentes, pasando de la paz al desenfreno, y como siempre, con unas grandes armonías vocales. Otro detalle de lujo es el "falso" final orquestal.
