What makes Megalopolis so strange and, for a big-budget Hollywood film, so singular, is that, just like Vergil’s Aeneid, it is at once accretive, allusive, and idiosyncratic because Coppola is attempting something very few artists have ever done: to speak from inside the imperial organism, even as it begins to crack, and to craft a vision that is both a monument to its grandeur and a requiem for its decline.

Única película de Frankenstein que me da más miedo (no en el buen sentido) que la de Kenneth Branagh¿Más pesadillas que Van Helsing, Zack? (soy malo, lo sé).

Bueno, no. Está a la par con I, Frankenstein (película sólo soportable si antes te has metido entre pecho y espalda algo con muchos grados)...

A las Momias de Sommers (entretenida la primera, lo admito) les perdí el rastro tras la segunda, que ya apuntaba maneras (¡ese CGI ratonero del Rey Escorpión
!, que dio pie a un spin-off la mar de sinsorgo y mareante...).

Por cierto Tripley, ¿sabes que Danny Elfman es el autor de la música del logo de la nueva saga (o eso pretenden), de monstruos de la Universal?

Jane, una cosa es que no te guste nada el frankenstein de Branagh y otra muy distinta ponerlo a la altura de pastiches horrendos cómo Van Helsing o I Frankenstein

Por el contrario a mí me parecen dos grandísimas nuevas versiones de ambos mitos literarios. Creo que Coppola y Branagh hiceron muy buen trabajo y Kilar (como bien indicas) y Doyle, se salieron, directamente.Era una manera de hablar
