Por desgracia, hay una regla no escrita de que las películas de súper héroes no pueden subir de PG-13. Se intentó con "Watchmen" y fue un gran fracaso comercial (aunque una película estupenda).

O con Punisher War Zone, película con una carga de violencia bastante explícita y que solo duró en cartel en USA tres semanas (aquí ni se estrenó en cines).

Yo la encontré disfrutable a ciertos niveles. Era bastante cafre y no exenta de autoparodia, y Ray Stevenson daba el perfil adecuado para el personaje por presencia escénica. También es cierto que el tufillo a serie b en el sentido peyorativo del término estaba ahí.
De The Wolverine se ha hablado maravillas especialmente del guión de Christopher McQuarrie (aunque lo hayan revisado), y Mangold es un artesano bastante competente. Tengo muchas ganas de ver la película.

Cierto, me llevé una grata sorpresa con esa película a que muchos macharon y es de las pocas que muestra un poco cómo es Frank Castle y en qué atmósferas se mueve.

Te aconsejo que si la revisas lo hagas desde una óptica más cinéfaga que cinéfila. Siendo de por sí un producto digno y sobretodo valiente, creo que si se ve con cierta comicidad se disfruta más que haciéndolo asépticamente.

Además, todo lo relacionado con el cómic me tira (hasta a Green Lantern le veo sus cosillas buenas).

La película fue la leche justo por eso.
A mi es que por ejemplo un Lobezno o Un Castigador así, +13 es como comparar pata negra y jamón de este del super light.
