Esas pelis la mayoría estaban supervisadas como las de avatar. Otra cosa distinta es que Disney no sabía a lo que estaba. Ahora ha cambiado de estrategia, recuperar líneas de negocio ( que no tiene que ver con el físico ni streaming) y no abandonar el físico como tenía vías de hacer. Ya vistes que se anunciaron varias series y esas pelis saldrán y más cosas

Aliens para el año que viene. Se supone que Titanic sería a final de año, aunque en usa es Paramount si no me falla la memoria

"confirmar" algo así, hablando de Cameron, es absurdo.
con Abyss llevan... ¿una década? diciendo que salía en Blu-ray el año que viene. Incluso recuerdo una foto de hace 3 o 4 años con un monitor en la que se veía el título de la película, y un técnico decía que ya había completado la masterización en HD.

The 4K transfer for each release will be presented in superb Dolby Vision HDR and with an immersive Atmos audio mix. Additionally, most of the releases will arrive with several hours of captivating all-new bonus features. From the eight hours of Avatar: The Way of Water bonus including all-new deleted scenes to the five hours of new and legacy Titanic extras, fans will delight in the numerous hours of never-before-seen materials.

1. Both versions of The Abyss will be included on both 4K UHD and Blu-ray.
2. Both versions of Aliens will be included on both 4K UHD and Blu-ray.
3. ALL THREE VERSIONS of Avatar will be included on both 4K UHD and Blu-ray.
4. The Blu-ray versions of The Abyss and True Lies are mastered from the new 4K scans.
5. The Blu-ray versions may eventually be available separately, but for now they’re exclusive to these 4K UHD + Blu-ray Combos.
6. All 4K presentations will include Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio on 100 GB discs.
7. All titles except Aliens will include new special features.
8. All titles will include the legacy special features.
9. 4K Digital versions of all these titles will be available on December 12th.
A couple of additional notes:
10. The Aliens Blu-ray is mastered from the new 4K scan as well.

¿Has visto la carátula de la película original?
Imagen de un supuesto ser de metal líquido o similar, sin relación alguna con la película... salvo cierto parecido con la criatura, equiparable a mi parecido con Pablo Echenique...
¿Es decente la nueva carátula? Ni por asomo, pero cuesta abajo no es, ya que al menos tiene relación la película. Pasan de un 0,25 a un 1,25. Sigue siendo un suspenso de llamar a los padres a reunión con el profesor, pero es (ligeramente) cuesta arriba.

Esa de Alien es otro horror, un spoiler sobre el desarrollo del bicho que contrasta con el misterio del huevo. No hay ni mención a la famosa frase del mítico cartel original. Tras el cartel del 40° aniversario 4k, desde el espacio, todos pueden oír los gritos.
