    Predeterminado UHD Bluray

Pues ya se va moviendo la cosa y Samsung anuncia un reproductor por 500$, que no es mal precio para las priemras unidades, que normamalmente iban por los 1000$

    Cito la Noticia

The launch window for the player is set for early next year. It will sport a curved design, UHD streaming apps, and cost under $500.

There's plenty of news coming out of the IFA electronics show in Berlin, and one tasty tidbit from today was Samsung's official unveiling of a new Ultra HD Blu-ray player.

Engadget reports that Samsung announced the new UBD-K8500 Ultra HD Blu-ray player should be available in Europe sometime in early 2016. At the same press event, Fox Studios pledged its support to the format by promising to release Ultra HD Blu-rays featuring HDR (high dynamic range) content on the same day-and-date schedule as cloud-based formats and HD Blu-ray. Currently, announced titles for the new format include Fantastic Four, Kingsman: The Secret Service, and Maze Runner—with more to come.

In addition to introducing the new player, Samsung announced that a firmware update will add HDMI 2.0a support to its 2015 UHD and SUHD TVs. HDMI 2.0a compatibility is crucial to ensuring compatibility with HDR UHD content.

"Samsung's Ultra HD Blu-ray player is curved to match its TVs, and also includes some UHD streaming services. The other news today at IFA is that Samsung's TVs will be the first ones getting a software update to support HDMI 2.0a, necessary to receive HDR info from the new Blu-ray players." - Engadget

CNET reports that the cost of the new Ultra HD Blu-ray discs will be (approximately) $30/each, and that Samsung cites delays in setting the Ultra HD Blu-ray standards for the late launch of its new player.

"A Samsung product manager told CNET the device will launch in the first quarter instead of later this year because of a delay in setting the standards for UHD Blu-ray products." - CNET

It looks like the next generation of home entertainment is finally ready for its big debut, and based on the reports coming out of IFA, CES 2016 is where it's all going to come together. Are you looking forward to Ultra HD Blu-ray?

Lo de el diseño curvo no mola nada, a ver que anuncian otros fabricantes

y algún título que se va anunciando para el mismo día del lanzamiento de los reproductores
