La saca en latita Sony en Agosto de 2026, por el 20 aniversario.

Como El Código Da Vinci, traerá las dos versiones de la película, la versión de cines y la Unrated, en 4K.

Todavía es pronto para adivinar, pero viendo que Sony sí saca fuera de USA cuando es un lata, quizá nos venga por aquí. Crucemos los dedos, porque a mí me interesa.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Adam McKay's comedy Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006) with a new 4K Blu-ray/Blu-ray SteelBook release, which is scheduled to arrive on the market on August 4th.

The fastest man on four wheels, Ricky Bobby (WILL FERRELL) is one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. A big, hairy American winning machine, Ricky has everything a dimwitted daredevil could want, a luxurious mansion, a smokin' hot wife (LESLIE BIBB) and all the fast food he can eat. But Ricky's turbo-charged lifestyle hits an unexpected speed bump when he's bested by flamboyant Euro-idiot Jean Girard (SACHA BARON COHEN) and reduced to a fear-ridden wreck. Losing his wife and job to best bud and fellow fool, Cal Naughton, Jr. (JOHN C. REILLY), Ricky must kick some serious asphalt if he's to get his career back on the track, beat Girard and reclaim his fame and fortune. Como suponía, la acaba de anunciar hoy Arvi, para el 26 de agosto de 2026.

Sé que no tiene que ver con la edición.. que sale a fin de mes y la espero con ganas (en USA y UK ya la tienen)...

A Christopher Nolan le gusta esta peli.

Aunque no se ha prodigado mucho en el género, a Christopher Nolan le gustan las comedias tanto como a cualquiera. Puede que incluso más. Y gracias a unas declaraciones que hizo en su día a The Rich Eisen Show, su película favorita del género no es ningún secreto. El director de ‘La odisea’, ‘Interstellar’ y ‘El caballero oscuro’ pasó en su momento por el famoso programa de radio estadounidense y dejó claro cuál es la cinta en la que siempre se detiene cuando está haciendo zapping:

“¿Cuál es esa película que te hace soltar el mando, Christopher? Cuando estás viendo qué echan en la tele y aparece una película que te encanta”, le preguntó el propio Rich Eisen. “No había oído el término “soltar el mando”. Es fantástico. Me encanta. Y hay un montón a las que se aplica. Quiero decir, voy dando vueltas, ya sabes, y si están echando algún clásico, me refiero a... Dios, algo de Kubrick me hace soltarlo de inmediato. Algunas de las grandes comedias de la historia también. Un ejemplo es ‘Talladega Nights’. No podría cambiar de canal si sale ‘Talladega Nights”.

Hasta el propio presentador se sorprendió al oír las declaraciones de Nolan. No es para menos. ‘Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby’ , traducida en España como ‘Pasado de vueltas’, no suele estar en lo alto de ningún top personal. .
