Based on the musical play by Richard O’Brien - with a screenplay by O’Brien and director Jim Sharman, and produced by Lou Adler and Michael White - The Rocky Horror Picture Show broke the mold with its unforgettable characters, flamboyant costumes, and audacious rock ‘n’ roll soundtrack. Through its legendary late-night screenings, complete with shadow casts, fan costumes, and interactive rituals, the film pioneered a new kind of audience participation that redefined the moviegoing experience. Today, with weekly screenings around the world, The Rocky Horror Picture Show continues to make history as the longest-running theatrical release of all time.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary, a newly restored and remastered version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be unleashed in breathtaking 4K Ultra HD, and crowned by the debut of a dazzling new anniversary logo.

Overseen by the Walt Disney Studios Restoration team, the 10-month project included a meticulous digital scan and preservation process that ensures every frame of the cult classic is presented with unprecedented clarity and vibrancy. The restoration also features a newly mixed Dolby Atmos audio track, bringing enhanced depth and dimension to the film’s iconic soundtrack. For purists and longtime fans, the original mono audio has been fully restored as well - allowing audiences to experience the film exactly as it was heard when it first premiered five decades ago.

Esperemos que traiga audio en Castellano

Como el 99% de las películas que salen seguramente no tendrá.

Sin ocultar que soy un firme detractor del doblaje (cualquiera), este título en concreto me parece que no tiene sentido alguno doblado en castellano; es de esas películas que no tienen ni sentido ni gracia, sin ser en V.O.

Hombre yo no iba por ahí, en casa por la noche con toda la familia se ve doblado, tenemos mayores.

Mi comentario iba más porque nuestro país ha sido totalmente abandonado y llevamos ya un año que la mayoría de películas no salen, solo hay que entrar en Blu-ray.com y entrar a calendario y ver que por cada 100 ediciones aquí te sale una docena y con suerte.

Y aun así la gente sigue sorprendida en cada hilo de que se nos excluye.

Tal vez sería hora de dividir los subforos en uno para ediciones extranjeras y otro para ediciones con castellano o que salen aquí así nos ahorraríamos el día de la marmota en cada hilo

Yo creo que la "sorpresa" ya no es tal, al menos mayoritariamente: la gente que se queja suele ser siempre la misma, y eso que saben perfectamente lo que hay.

Ya se ha propuesto anteriormente, y si lo piensas bien no tiene ningún sentido: habría que mover hilos de un sitio a otro en función de ediciones posteriores, y como bien dices, uno de esos "subforos" estaría condenado de muerte.

Me ha gustado ver como la ignorancia sobre la película ha hecho saltar a alguno por aquí. Y eso que parecía que el mensaje de schumann parecía mas o menos dejarlo claro pero por si acaso:

¡¡NO EXISTE DOBLAJE DE ESTA PELÍCULA!!

Siempre me apenó que no se doblasen nunca al menos los diálogos. Pero en este caso con subtítulos en castellano como el BD, va que chuta. La saca la propia Fox??

Tranquilo, los que conocemos la peli lo hemos pillado a la primera
Lo único de lo que tengo duda es de qué subtitulado nos va a tocar, porque yo creo que habré visto como tres diferentes sin exagerar. Aunque esencialmente sean lo mismo, no son lo mismo.

Entiendo que el subtitulado "oficial" es el de Disney+, no? No olvidemos que el remaster de esta versión 4K es a cargo de Disney.

Yo el primero que vi fue el de una emisión de canal plus en los 90. Después el DVD 35 aniv., y no sé si el del blu ray cambiaba cosas, porque si es usa o europa cambian cosas. Y luego estan los pases de cine en Halloween.
A ver qué toca.

Y que subtitulen en castellano los extras, a diferencia del blu ray...

Siendo que esta peli no tiene doblaje castellano (Se habla de un supuesto doblaje de Canal+ pero no se encuentra) me entra la duda de si Disney va a meterle, al menos subtítulos en castellano, y si fuera así si Divisa traería el steelbook, siendo que ya no trae nada con discos VOSE debido a la tremenda alergia que se le tiene por aquí a titulos editados en VOSE.

Ojalá me equivoque, pero me da a mi que no. Mas que nada por ahorrar gastos y pillar en el país, que es lo suyo.

Se ha anunciado en Italia. Nada de detalles si tiene español, pero que salga en Italia siempre es buena señal.

Lo que no indica es que incluya es las dos versiones, la americana y la británica, como si incluye el Blu-Ray.

Puede que solo incluya la americana.

Eso si, se agradece la inclusión de la pista mono original. No siempre pasa.

Yo entiendo que tendrá una solo versión. Desconozco cuales son las diferencias entre el montaje para USA y para UK. Alguien sabe? Respecto al subtitulado en castellano es obvio que vendrá con ello, no?

La version USA no incluye la cancion Superheroes, aparte de que algunas canciones estan cantadas de forma diferente, con diferentes arreglos y alguna letra cambiada.

Otras fuentes dicen que la canción Superheroes esta editada en la version USA suprimiendo algunas voces como la de Brad y Janet.

Yo imagino, por lógica comercial, que esta nueva edicion traerá la version UK, que se supone es la integra y tal como la concibio Richard O¨Brian.

Es raro que no hayan puntualizado en las promos que version trae. Siempre vende eso de.."Original full cut", "Uncensored cut" y cosas asi.

Lo suyo sería que como la edición bluray, incluya las dos versiones.
