Rob Zombie Talks 'Werewolf Women of the S.S' Feature?!

One of the coolest parts of this past April's release of Grindhouse were the badass faux trailers inter-cut throughout the film. One such trailer was directed by Rob Zombie and entitled "Werewolf Women of the S.S.", which features Nazi, guns, werewolves and more. Today Rob Zombie updated his blog with a simple question, "How many of you would like to see a full length movie of WEREWOLF WOMEN OF THE SS?" What exactly does that mean? Could it be that Dimension Films is getting behind a feature-length version of his trailer? Only time will tell...

No os ha pasado que habeis visto un trailer con imagenes que luego no salian en la pelicula????

Eso es muy habitual. Los trailers que promocionan las pelis muchas veces se hacen durante la producción, cuando aún no se ha montado la película ni se ha orquestado la BSO.

Para los trailers pillan las escenas más espectaculares, pero algunas se quedan en la sala de montaje de la película final. Recuerdo especialmente esa peli de Affleck y Theron en plan Jungla de Cristal pero con casinos; en el trailer salía una escena muy guapa en la que Affleck saltaba de un lado a otro de un acantilado, y que desapareció de la peli (eso sí, creo que luego hubo director's cut que la incluía).

Así que muchas veces vemos trailers con escenas que no están en la peli final y con una BSO que no corresponde con la que suena en la peli.

El trailer de Rob es el que menos me gusta de todos, salvo por la coña de Nicholas Cage.

Sin duda, Rob Zombie podria hacer una buena pelicula bajo el nombre "Werewolf Women of the S.S", pero como han comentado anteriormente, estropearia la gracia del fake trailer, y en parte Grindhouse, porque parece ser que poca gente las ve como dos peliculas que han sido para ver juntas y con fake trailers en medio. Creo que Rob deberia optar por hacer otra pelicula, que ideas descabelladas tiene muchas.

Eso si, hay que concretar que lo de Machete es otra cosa... Robert Rodriguez puede llegar a hacer algo grande con este personaje, que lleva creado desde el principio de sus dias.

Official Statement Regarding 'Werewolf Women of the S.S.'

I got an official statement this morning from Rob Zombie's camp regarding the news that hit the web last night. Yesterday Zombie asked on his blog, "How many of you would like to see a full length movie of WEREWOLF WOMEN OF THE SS?" The original was created as a faux trailer used in the middle of Dimension's Grindhouse, which featured a film by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. Zombie's camp tells us officially, "We are strongly considering doing this film." We'll keep you updated on anything official. Nazi, guns, werewolves and more... sounds like Indiana Jones on steroids!

Zombie ha dicho que su próxima pelicula puede ser un western.

According to The Pulse of Radio, Rob Zombie told RollingStone.com on Friday (December 7) that his next film might be a Western. The rocker-turned-filmmaker, who said he loved this fall's remake of "3:10 to Yuma", explained, "It's one of my favorite genres. I love John Ford, Howard Hawks". Although Zombie has not revealed specific plans for his fourth film as a director, he told one group of reporters on a recent conference call that it would not be a horror movie. He has also ruled out directing a sequel to his hit remake of "Halloween" and dismissed Internet rumors that he was working on a re-imagining of the '80s chiller "C.H.U.D."

Zombie also said he'd like to make a feature-length version of "Werewolf Women of the S.S.", the fake trailer he directed as part of last spring's "Grindhouse".

A mí me parece bien que la haga, y un spaghetti western suyo sería brutal.La senda abierta por "The devil's rejects" me la pone dura dura.
