Ya tenemos Weyland-Yutani! :globito :globito

“There are going to be great sets and aliens coming out of people. It’s amazing to watch Ridley work. I try to soak up as much knowledge as I can from him, because having worked on this kind of films a few times and having seen how many moving parts there are, how many people work on the set and how many departments need attention and the language, he’s an absolute master.”
“The sets are fantastic. Again, the most impressive sets I’ve seen since ‘Prometheus,’ which was the original setting. It’s a fantastic mixture of high-end technology and primitive elements. The way that I can explain it is the same way that Ridley did ‘Blade Runner. You have this futuristic world where people are eating noodles, because that seems to be the cheaper food and something that will fill you up. But it’s also something that harks back to the past. The weaving of those two things—past and future—together makes for an interesting world that we can aspire to, but also recognize something in it".

'Alien: Covenant': Two Female Directors To Work Alongside Ridley Scott in Australia:
-------------------------------------------------Cita:
Ridley Scott is adding two female directors to his team when he shoots "Alien: Covenant" in Australia. It was announced by Screen Australia and the Australian Directors Guild (ADG) that Brooke Goldfinch and Catriona McKenzie were chosen as the director's attachments for the film and will work with the director for five weeks.
"A director's attachment with Ridley Scott is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Across all genres, his films have a pure cinematic vision. I look forward to being a great big sponge – quiet and absorbing," said McKenzie in a statement.
Goldfinch added, “Shadowing one of my icons on one of my favorite blockbuster film series is an extraordinary opportunity. With over 40 years’ experience, Ridley Scott is a master. He has always nurtured the careers of women in front of and behind the camera and I'm happy to have the privilege of working with him."
The Director’s Attachment Scheme is funded by ADG and Screen Australia as an incentive program for emerging directors to develop their craft. Goldfinch and McKenzie have blossoming careers as helmers. This year Goldfinch was nominated for Best Direction in a Short Film at the ADG Awards and was previously selected to direct a segment of the film "The Colour of Time."
McKenzie's debut feature film, "Satellite Boy," won the Crystal Bear Special Mention Award for Best Film at the Berlin Film Festival.
Alien: Covenant Sets Will Look “Battered, Like The Original Star Wars”:
Cita:
According to a new interview with Michael Fassbender, the Alien: Covenant sets will look “battered, like the original Star Wars.” The comments come via Australian newspaper Herald Sun, who spoke to the actor behind Prometheus and Alien: Covenant’s David 8, regarding his time on the latest X-Men but Fassbender spoke a little about the sets of Alien: Covenant, further elaborating on his comments about the sets earlier this week:
“Fassbender is in Sydney, where he’s filming Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant, the sci-fi sequel to Prometheus. He’s a big wrap for Scott’s huge physical sets, which he describes as mixing cutting-edge NASA-like technology with “an old-school element where things look battered, like the original Star Wars…”
The Alien: Covenant sets will look “battered, like the original Star Wars…” according to Michael Fassbender. Are we returning to a lived in aesthetic as seen in Alien with the Nostromo?
One of the issues fans had with Ridley Scott’s last foray into the Alien universe was that the Prometheus didn’t share the “lived in” look to its sets that the Alien films did. It sounds like the Covenant will have seen more use and abuse than the Prometheus did. Something we’re sure fans will be pleased to hear.
Fassbender also spoke a little more about Alien: Covenant, saying of David 8 that he loves playing the character because of how “creepy” he is. He also teases that David is “back in a whole new way…”
