Muchas gracias por la aclaración, cual es el final que emitieron en la TV?, ya hace tanto que la vi que no recuerdo.

Por la TV siempre el del supermercado.

La comunidad de fans de esta película a creado la versión "fan cut" de la película utilizando metraje de todas las distintas versiones. Os adjunto el glosario del montaje:

Código:

13:44 - the blood splattered wall, has been added which was removed in a few versions.
24:02 - the Ash/Shelia love scene is added which was also removed in a few versions
28:30 - the Demon chase in the woods is slightly switched. He jumps then falls, whereas in other versions he jumps then appears at the windmill.
29:40 - the slightly eerie coming of night windmill scene. I always loved this scene which was removed in various versions. In true Evil Dead style, when night time comes, bad things happen.
30:59 - ok, now this is where it all starts… I used the full extended windmill scene from the Japanese cut so any alterations I mention are from that version. Unfortunately the theatrical cut is the only version to include the mini ashes music so I had to add it in separately.
31:21 - I removed the small part of ash looking quizzically at the mini ashes then removing the fork from his butt. Didn’t feel the scene needed it and it flowed better the original way.
31:38 - removed small part of ash dialogue. then from the part where ash trips on the broom, the music does not appear in any version that I have ever seen. However it does appear on the original soundtrack CD, so I just remixed it slightly.
31:47 - cut a small part where ash reaches for the spatula, it always annoyed me that he would waste time holding it in front of the camera for a few seconds before using it to pry his face from the stove. Also tried to mix the music to make it fit with the scene.
32:11 - removed the ash slipping on the floor scene. I hated this part and thought it looked ridiculous. I felt the scene flows better from when he gets the bucket on his head to when he is tripped, also had to mix the music to make it fit with the scene.
32:19 - stopped the music then added sound effect to where ash hit’s the pipe.
32:37 - added sound effect when ash elbows the mini ash into the fire.
32:42 - music restarted when ash hears the floor creak.
32:54 - music stopped and sound effect added just before ash hit’s the pipe.
32:59 - sound effect added when pipe explodes.
33:03 - music restarted when ash glares at the mini ashes.
33:41 - ‘horrible nightmare’ & ‘what a minute’ lines removed
34:00 - the mini ash diving scene has been reshuffled to make it similar to the theatrical version and using the theatrical audio. For some reason all the editions have a slightly altered version of this scene but the theatrical works best, for the timing of ash‘s gasp from when the mini ash lands in his mouth.
37:22 - always preferred the line ‘I ain’t that good’ over ‘good, bad, I’m the guy with the gun’. I find it’s short and sweet and packs more of a punch.
54:24 - the Sheila shirt rip is added here. excluded from a few of the other versions.
60:08 - after ‘the deadites approach’ is called, there is a small scene with the soldiers are getting to their posts ready for battle and ash scaling the castle.
60:43 - only available In the theatrical version. I’ve included the Chinese jet pilot line.
60:55 - this is the European version of the battle. In a few versions, some of the deadites retreat after the first batch of gunpowder arrows are fired.
68:07 - this scene was included in the Japanese version. You see a few soldiers get hit with arrows and another fall from the castle wall, then Arthur appears. In the original version he calls to ash and asks why henry the red hasn’t come. Obviously the ‘henry the red’ scene was cut from all versions, so this request would make no sense. However I really loved the little nod of respect that Arthur gives to ash, so I had to edit the scene to remove the ‘henry the red’ dialogue and reshuffle the audio.
69:14 - again, in the Japanese version there is a scene I removed where ash is seen to be deserting his troops, which I didn’t really like. Especially after the show of respect show by Arthur in the scene previously.
69:23 - the death coaster scene is from the European cut. I was thinking of including the extended version but I felt it went on for too long.
70:56 - this is another extended scene from the Japanese version where they storm the walls. Although I cut it down to match the theatrical/European version, but included the ‘now, I will have that book’ line.
71:51 - the arrival of henry the red. In some versions henry and his soldiers appears right at the end of the battle and barely do a thing. I much prefer the timing in this version. Also I added the music from the theatrical cut. In the other versions there is alternate music for his arrival.
74:23 - after catapulting Sheila over the wall. The scene where evil ash rips the cage off the wall is slightly different in various versions. In the theatrical, ash catapults Sheila over the wall and has his back turned as evil ash rips the cage of the wall, in the other versions he turns around after catapulting Sheila after hearing evil ash ripping off the cage which I have included here.
74:48 - one of my favourite moments that is only in the theatrical cut. Ash’s reaction when his spear is cut in half. Love it.
74:59 - evil ash line ‘prepare to die’ from the theatrical cut removed. I much prefer his distorted battle cry.
75:24 - small extra scene in the Japanese version where an unarmed ash fireman carries a deadite onto the evil ash and takes his sword. Which also explains the reason why in the other versions ash appears to acquire a sword from thin air.
76:55 - a few extra seconds of evil ash writhing around in flames, from the Japanese cut.
77:55 - there is an scene I cut out here from the Japanese version where evil ash starts breathing fire, it is horrible and got the chop.
78:28 - this is the point where henry the red would come to help in the alternate versions. Definitely too late.
78:51 - the retreat scene that I mentioned in 60:55, fits in a lot better here.
80:35 - the alternate dialogue from the wise man regarding the 6 drops ash must swallow.
81:44 - the start of the apocalyptic version. The original and my preferred ending.

La comunidad de fans de esta película a creado la versión "fan cut" de la película utilizando metraje de todas las distintas versiones.

La verdad es que yo personalmente prefiero el Director's Cut (asiático). Esta versión no es mala pero no aporta nada -de importancia- al mismo.

No recuerdo quién fue, pero gracias al compañero que avisó del chollo de la edición fnac a 18 euros, me ha llegado hoy. Hará compañía al DVD de HK

Con audio castellano pues sí, la USA tiene subtítulos latinos, mientras que la UK creo que nothing de nothing.

Y ademas el castellano es redoblaje.

Nueva edición australiana "Army of Darkeness: The Necronomicon Epic" para el 6 de junio.



Pero aparte del bonito packaging, por lo que entiendo, incluye la misma versión "Screwhead Edition" más dos DVD con la versión cines USA + la director's cut.

Que digo yo que ya podrían haberse dejado de DVDs y meter dos BD incluyendo el director's cut.

Ciertamente george_crow este es packaging que tendría que haber incluido la edición de Fnac en lugar de esa caja tan cutrona.

Pirujo yo la tengo y sí te la recomiendo. Le daría un 3,8 de imagen por lo que recuerdo. No la tengo en mi casa, así que te hablo de memoria, pero recuerdo que no me defraudò. El packing no es como el que ha puesto rantamplan (I wish) pero cumple si quieres tenerla en castellano. Yo pienso comprarme el que èl ha puesto si lo puedo comprar màs barato y meter ahí mi disco.

Acabo de ver la versión Fnac y lamento comunicar que no es la versión de toda la vida española es decir la que se estreno en cine y se editó en VHS, tampoco es la edición en DVD francesa de MGM, puesto que es sí es la versión de toda la vida española de 85 minutos.

La peli la conozco bien y he ido detectado cosas raras del montaje, sobretodo por el tema de la banda sonora que me encanta y tengo comprada en CD y que no encajaba perfectamente.

Pero vamos al grano:

- Escena de cama entre Ash y Sheila está eliminada. Pasan del beso "dame tu cariño nena" a Ash saliendo del castilo a caballo. Falta toda la escena de cama y cuando ella va con la mantita que le ha hecho a taparle en la torre.

- Molino. Faltan secuencias cortas, como los ejes del molino girando antes de que se pare. Luego han cambiado la escena en que hacen caer a Ash con el palo de la escoba por un metraje nuevo cantando en inglés.

- Al salir del molino cuando se está desdoblando Ash de su "alter ego" falta la escena que baja una pequeña colina cantando la canción de "oh Susana". Como curiosidad al final de la escena Ash dice 2 veces en lugar de 1 "no soy tan bueno".

- Necronomicon. Cuando Ash ve que hay 3 libros en lugar de 1 falta una secuencia con una frase genial (esta la eché de menos al instante). Es cuando dice "estúpido hombre sabio" y luego algo así como "estaba tan ocupado enseñándome sus palabritas, sus frases y su mierda y que nunca me dijo nada de esto". Todo eso no lo dice. Despues también faltan unos frames cuando recupera su fisionomía de alargamiento de rostro con el primer libro. Es absurdo que falten pero es así, si os dais cuenta da un salto brusco desde que está girando la cabeza hasta que recupera su forma original.

- Preparación para los muertos. Es una escena que también descubrí porque la música no me encajaba. Básicamente faltan algunas escenas y está acortado. Me refiero en la parte que preparan el coche, la pólvora, entrenan los soldados, etc. Como curiosidad en esta escena cuando aparece el mítico libro "química 101", en la versión original una voz en off de Ash dice el título "química 101" y en esta versión se ha eliminado esa parte del doblaje.

Ya no me ha venido a la mente nada más en especial, pero sí como digo la sensación de que faltan varias escenas en varias secuencias y es lógico ya que faltan en total unos 5 minutos de película respecto a la versión de toda la vida.

En definitiva ha sido un gran disgusto para mí porque es una de mis películas preferidas de toda la vida. Supongo que seguiré visionando mi DVD aunque en algunas escenas se coló el doblaje latino.

Un gran negativo para Fnac por ponernos la miel en la boca y dejarnos este truño de edición y lo digo desde el punto de vista de un auténtico fan de la película, para el que no la haya visto antes no creo que sea tan importante.

P.D. Como comprador de la película en Fnac he escrito esta opinión dándole una nota de 3/10, ya veremos si la publican.

La calidad de imagen y sonido son buenas pero lamentablemente es la edición de 80 minutos y no la que se estrenó en cines en España y está editada en VHS que dura 85 minutos.

Faltan algunas escenas importantes como la escena de cama entre Ash y Sheila. Frases míticas se han perdido como la de "estúpido hombre sabio" debido a que falta metraje.

En definitiva una gran decepción para quienes sean fans de esta película mítica de Sam Raimi y Bruce Campbell.

Sería un detalle por parte de Fnac sacar una nueva edición íntegra de 85 minutos con el montaje internaciona que se exhibió en cines.

A una persona,realmente fan de la pelicula original(con ello digo la versión de el cine,y la versión en vhs dónde sale en este comentario de rantaplan todo lo que echamos de menos,además de EL BENDITO DOBLAJE ORIGINAL)

Aunque los extras se reducen a un trailer y no hay secuencias eliminadas ...Vista la duración que anuncian ( 81 minutos )no parece ser el montaje europeo de toda la vida .

Ya sabemos el por que de la chapuza de la edición del Fnac,tiene nombre y apellido y se llama Suevia Films!!!!

Que Suevia la distribuya no quiere decir que la edite.

Lo de las alternate versions de "Army of Darkness" es que tiene tela para cortar y regalar:

There are four different versions of Army Of Darkness- the 96-minute Director's Cut, the 81-minute U.S. Theatrical Version, the 88-minute International edit, and the 88-minute U.S. Television version. The Director's Cut runs at 96 minutes compared to the theatrical 81 minutes, and includes numerous new scenes and extensions. Among the changes are more violence in the pit, a love scene between Ash and Sheila, an extended windmill scene, different dialogue between Good and Bad Ash, an extended speech on the castle roof and a vastly different ending. The International cut is basically a shorter version of the Director's Cut, albeit with the "happier" ending and repositioned arrival of Henry The Red as in the theatrical version, and was the version released in cinemas outside the US. The Television edit, premiered in 1997 and most commonly shown on the Sci-Fi Channel in America, is most notable for featuring two extended scenes not included in the other three versions, though they are included in a different, rougher format in the deleted scenes section of the DVD. (In the Television version, the scenes are finished and include music.)

The theatrical release picks up after Ash has returned to the present, in which he stages one final confrontation with the "she-bitch" in the S-Mart Housewares Department. The alternate ending, which was favored by Raimi and Bruce Campbell, depicts Ash as he sits in his Oldsmobile in a cave, the entrance caved in by some of the black powder he made earlier. When test audiences didn't approve of Raimi's original cut, he cut the film down to the International cut that now exists on DVD. When it was again rejected by Universal, Raimi was forced to edit it again to the U.S. Theatrical version. The original cut had an opening that was more in tune with the Evil Dead series (included as a deleted scene on Anchor Bay's Director's Cut DVD).

The MGM Hong Kong Region 3 DVD edits together the U.S. Theatrical, European and Director's cuts into a final, 96-minute cut of the film. The film is digitally re-mastered, compiled from original source prints (not from VHS sources as the Anchor Bay Entertainment releases are). A new Blu Ray release of Army Of Darkness from Optimum Releasing in the UK is rumored to be of the Director's Cut; it is to be released on September 19th 2008.

Fnac ya no tiene la exclusividad de la venta. Me la he encontrado hoy en el Corte Inglés de Santa Cruz de Tenerife a 15 € edición estandar es decir la pelicula nada más sin el resto de extras.

Juraría que la que he visto yo en el CI si que llevaba los extras de la edición del FNAC, eso si, en amaray simple sin libro....

Tienes razón, me refiero a que no viene con el merchandising cuando salió a la venta, es decir el libro, la camiseta, etc...
