Prácticamente no extras (trailer y un canta con nosotros), versión 1.85:1, con spanish y francés tanto en audio como en subtítulos, libre de región... típica edición blu-ray de Don Bluth Veremos si cuando salga, se confirma todo ello, sobre todo lo de region free.

"spanish"... osea latino no?

mi gran duda es si será el doblaje latino original de 1986, o si será un redoblaje.....
que ponga "spanish 5.1" en vez de "spanish 2.0" es lo que me hace temer que sea un redoblaje....

Me extrañaría que redoblasen algo para una edición como está: destinada a USA, y de fondo de catálogo (que es el tratamiento que le están dando). Pero será difícil estar seguros de nada hasta que salga.

Bueno , añadamos algo de información, que efectivamente salió el dia 4.

De momento no hay reviews serias creo, pero por foros la gente está diciendo que el master usado es "bastante decente", y el unico extra digno de mención es el sing-a-long ese.

En aintitcool dicen : " The print is nice, but there’s really no extras at all on this, besides a sing-a-long feature for SOMEWHERE OUT THERE"

También se confirma que el audio en VO es la mezcla que hicieron en 5.1, que tenia algunas modificaciones (que ni notaré porque no la he visto nunca en inglés ).

A ver si van saliendo críticas y se va confirmando si el spanish es el español de entonces. (blu-ray.com ya tiene la información actualizada).

It’s great to have this in HD, but I really do feel a better Blu Ray would’ve been nice. The print is nice, but there’s really no extras at all on this, besides a sing-a-long feature for SOMEWHERE OUT THERE… but it would’ve been nice to get Don Bluth talking, locate some of the animators, see about getting Spielberg to talk about it, cuz AN AMERICAN TAIL was a big deal upon release. I think it is probably the way Disney treats their animated classics, that just makes me want a more robust release on this title, which I know is a beloved classic for a whole lot of you. But, you get the film! There’s a couple of interactive features that are just lame. Deserves a much better release!

West Side Mouse.....
Don Bluth's signature animated film makes its high-def debut and the results are mixed. But before we get into that there is the heartwarming story of a mouse named Fievel who gets separated from his Russian family and sets his eyes on America to live. His journey takes him to New York where he meets up with a strange array of other mice along with dodging cats to which he thought where not in America. With a very talented voice cast An American Tale plays out just like West Side Story even down to one of the films songs. Universal's debut of this title features an above average PQ presentation. The animation holds up well with soft colors and little film grain. Audio is also your average 5.1 dts track and just a couple of extra's are here. Bottom line if you are a devoted fan of the film this may be the best we get while all newcomers are surely to like it as much.
