El caballero oscuro: La leyenda renace (The Dark Knight Rises, 2012, Christopher Nolan)

Y yo todavía no pude ver completas las dos anteriores :S

Entre las Batman´s que hubo (incluso la versión de Burton)
esta serie es que la que me parece que alcanza un nivel
superlativo...

The footage began with an excerpt from the prologue that arrived in theaters in December, featuring Bane (Tom Hardy) taking down a CIA plane, and I have some terrific news: I understood every word that Bane said. It should be noted that the theater I was in featured some of the most advanced technology in the projection industry, so I don’t know if they changed the audio or if it was just the presentation, but it did raise my confidence in that aspect of the film.

As mentioned, most of the scenes shown were tight and quick and featured little to no context, so here is a list of the stuff that I caught:

Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) dressed as a maid before ripping off the white frills and revealing her black dress

James Gordon (Gary Oldman), as seen in the teaser trailer from last summer, lying in a hospital bed in bad shape

Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) sitting in his Batcave, which still looks very much like a cave

Bruce Wayne and Lucius Fox together in Wayne Enterprises

A team of police officers in raid gear slowly touring through what appear to be subway tunnels

Batman’s new vehicle, The Bat, taking to the air and spinning twisting as it flies over Gotham

Catwoman, in her full costume, leaning down and stealing stuff from a safe

Miranda Tate (Marion Cotillard) and Bruce Wayne sharing an intimate kiss

Catwoman sitting on the Batpod and firing at a blocked tunnel in the distance

Miranda Tate saying, “You’ve given them everything,” and Bruce Wayne replying, “Not yet.”

Alfred (Michael Caine) talking about the difficulty of getting back into his old routine.

The character that continues to be a tantalizing mystery is John Blake, as played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. While the footage shown today once again didn’t give us any dialogue from the character, it did show quite a bit of him – and in some interesting situations. In the scenes shown Blake flashes a badge and is quickly seen wielding a shotgun, but the most interesting cut featured a giant bridge crumbling in an explosion and then a reaction shot from Gordon-Levitt. Just as with trailers, it’s hard to know if that will actually be the cut in the final film or if it was done for dramatic effect, but it most definitely had the latter.

Warners president Jeff Robinov introduced Christopher Nolan to present an extended montage of moody footage from his swan song to the Batman franchise that he rebooted back in 2005 with Batman Begins. First, it was plainly evident that Bane's audio had been boosted. Unlike in the prologue attached to last winter's release of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, some of the footage of which made its way into this several minutes-long sizzle reel, Bane was not muffled at all now. Indeed, I feel confident saying he was crystal clear now! So we can finally lay those "mumbling" memes to rest.

A new, atmospheric Bat-score was used here, music that slowly built in tension and eeriness the way Joker's theme did in The Dark Knight. There was plenty of images of Batman and Catwoman in action here, lots of Batpod stuff, brawling and explosions. The overriding takeaway from this footage was that the very existence of Gotham City itself is at stake, with a stunning bridge destruction set-piece, more of the football stadium chaos, and the fighting in the streets between Bane's merc army and the Gotham City Police Department (including shots of Commissioner Gordon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's John Blake, and and Matthew Modine's politically-ambitious cop in action). We also see Bane and his men attacking the Gotham Stock Exchange. The rich and powerful of Gotham sure are in for it this summer.


We see lots of Anne Hathaway's Selina Kyle here. We see her posing as a maid leaving Wayne Manor at night, as well as Catwoman breaking into a hidden wall safe. We see her kicking gunmen in the streets, firing the Batpod's weapons, but most importantly a dialogue scene between her and Batman. Catwoman tells Batman, "You've given them everything!" Batman cryptically replies, "I haven't given them everything. Not yet." Oh, Gotham, will Batman pay the ultimate price for your sorry, corrupt ass?! That creeping sense of finality really is everywhere in the presentation of TDKR, from its "The Legend Ends" tagline to even Nolan himself stressing this as the conclusion of his trilogy and the final chapter of their story.

Other sweet stuff we spotted in the footage? Bruce working in his new Batcave, as well as a very "we were destined for this"/finding each other in the crowd showdown between Batman and Bane. It was like two mythic gunfighters meeting for the duel to decide who lives or dies. This town literally isn't big enough for the both of them. We also get some nice Alfred moments here, a very intriguing shot of a mystery man at that stronghold in India they began filming at last year, as well as a hot and heavy shot of Bruce and Selina kissing.



Overall, the Dark Knight Rises footage was stunning. Atmospheric, unsettling, nerdgasm-inducing and epic. This will be the Batman movie to end all Batman movies ... perhaps literally!

Bruce Wayne (Chris Bale) tiene los ojos hundidos, y tiene un aspecto pálido y ojeroso, usando además un bastón. Y vemos a Alfred decirle: ‘No se preocupe señor Wayne. Lleva un poco de tiempo volver al ritmo de las cosas’.

Se vio una vez más la escena del teaser trailer de Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) en el hospital.

Bruce Wayne y Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman) juntos en Empresas Wayne.

Escena del Batwing de Batman sobrevolando la ciudad.

Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) agachada robando cosas de una caja fuerte.

Selina Kyle se revela que es una de las sirvientas de la Mansión Wayne. Se ve una escena en la que es casi ensartada por una flecha de una ballesta que podría ser lanzada por Bruce. No hay diálogos en esta escena, pero acaba con ella saliendo de la mansión y quitándose la ropa de sirvienta para revelar que debajo lleva la de Catwoman.

Una explosión sella el centro de la ciudad de Gotham, lo que le permite a unos infriltados/desposeídos sembras la devastación sobre la clase privilegiada de la ciudad, mientras la policía o incluso Batman no pueden hacer nada por detenerlo.

Bruce trabajando en su nueva Batcueva.

Un grupo de agentes de policía apareciendo por un tunel subterráneo.

Un enfrentamiento público entre Batman y Bane, que a algunos les ha recordado a un duelo para decidir quién vive y quién muere ya que la ciudad no es lo suficientemente grande para ambos.

Un diálogo entre Batman y Catwoman (otras fuentes dicen que es entre Miranda Tate y Bruce Wayne), donde ella le dice: ‘¡Ya has dado todo lo que puedes!’, y Batman le contesta: ‘Todavía no’.

Entre las escenas de acción que se vieron estuvieron: más del caos del estadio de fútbol, combate entre el ejército de Bane y la policía, Bane y sus hombres atacando la Bolsa de Valores de Gotham, Catwoman pegando a algunos hombres armados en la calle o ella disparando desde el Batpod.

Palabras de Bale:

“I remember when I first read the script, of course it was all top secret,” Bale said during a break in the shoot. “I went round by Chris’ house, was shut in the room with the script — not allowed to leave with it — and it hit me that this was the last one. What Chris couldn’t believe was how slow I read because I go back and re-read until I have it all in my mind. I was in there six or seven hours. It was dark when I came out. And I was smiling.”

Fuera bromas, ojalá pusiesen un cine IMAX aquí, en Tenerife, sería un puntazo.

P.D: El próximo viernes... ¡trailer :palomitas (ojalá se filtre antes)!

Creo que antes de este IMAX de Parque Sur, sólo había un par de IMAX de la cadena Yelmo (Oviedo y Málaga) donde pusieran TDK.

Es un disfrute no tener que esperar al Blu-ray para verla en su máxima dimensión.

Yo vi El Caballero Oscuro en el IMAX de Yelmo de Barakaldo. Una pasada. Espero que repitan.

Cierto, ese era el otro cine de la cadena Yelmo que la proyectó en Imax.

Me acuerdo que estuve a punto de ir a uno de esos tres, pero al final la vi en el de Isla Azul con asientos vibradores.

un dia de diario tampoco te creas, a mi por MI4 creo que fueron 10 euros, mas o menos lo que te piden por el 3D en un cine normal de fin de semana (hablo en Madrid).

Yo tengo claro que ire al IMAX porque si gran parte de la pelicula se ha rodado asi, es la forma mas respetuosa de verla y seguramente la que mas se disfrute.

Que ganas de ver esta película dios mio !!!!

12 euros más 8 en palomitas me gasté para Avengers. Ahh y 10 en gasoleo.

Oye, ¿no es raro que no se hay filtrado el trailer?. Otras veces ha pasado, pero por lo visto en este caso no.

Pero merece la pena absolutamente. Ayer vi Los Vengadores en un cine digital normal (Max Ocio) y es que no tiene nada que hacer con el IMAX. No le llega ni a la suela de los zapatos.
