Correctísimo MIK. Es el trabajo de Zimmer para la película de Nichols, que revisioné el otro día (y también use como propuesta en el hilo de los grados de separación).
Como ya dije, Branagh/Doyle me "regaló" un temazo de Doyle y yo le respondí con un tema de Zimmer, compositor que no suele ser de sus favoritos.

Llevo un cuarto de hora pensando que esto me suena muchísimo (el inicio me ha hecho pensar que era Atmósfera cero de Goldsmith) y al final me doy cuenta de que esto suena al mejor Morricone y que es Misión a Marte, de De Palma.

MIK, hablando de De Palma, ¿has visto alguna vez Grand Central de Doyle tocada en vivo mientras se proyecta la película? Pásate por el hilo de bandas sonoras, que creo que lo vas a disfrutar mucho. Además, no es el típico vídeo grabado por aficionados sino que fueron los propios organizadores del evento los que lo subieron, por lo que se ve y se escucha todo estupendamente.

También he dejado allí, para los que esteis interesados en profundizar un poquito, una extensa entrevista (de casi dos horas), al orquestador Lawrence Ashmore, responsable de orquestar toda la obra de Doyle hasta su retiro en 2007. Si queréis aprender un poco de este a menudo nunca suficientemente valorado arte, viene muy bien (y de paso sirve para complementar mi futuro hilo sobre el tema).
Muy amena y divertida, de fácil comprensión y plagada de anécdotas sobre la industria.

Derek, es verdad que suena "electrónico" pero poco tiene que ver con Tron, la película propuesta es muy "analógica", casi casi "waldeniana".
Pista: el titulo tiene que ver con esta época del año y el director acaba de rodar en cierta isla

De la nueva propuesta de Tripley... me gusta lo que oigo (como dice Derek, recuerda al sonido electrónico ochentero de películas como Tron, aunque tiene un sonido 8-bit que me ha hecho pensar en Rompe Ralph, me temo que ni por estas:

Esto dice Conrado Xalabarder de la partitura.
Seguramente, la mejor creación del compositor hasta la fecha: espectacular banda sonora sinfónica y coral con poderosas melodías enfáticas y de acción que giran en derredor de un notable tema principal del que se saca máximo partido como referente a la gran aventura. Goza de un sentido clásico y de una sólida estructura, cuenta con bellas melodías que dotan de colorido lírico y es en su conjunto un festín.
