Tema: KING KONG : Previsionado

Una pequeña reflexión, y algo estúpida pero no tanto:

Parque jurásico 1 = la primera mitad de King Kong.
Parque jurásico 2 = la segunda mitad de King Kong.

Si hay algo que me fallaba bastante en la peli era la estructura. Yo prefería por mucho "el mundo perdido" de la isla Skull que el terror de que un solo bicho amenace a toda la ciudad.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - En su primer intento por realizar una nueva versión de "King Kong", el director cinematográfico Peter Jackson utilizó una réplica en cartón del Empire State Building y un panorama de Manhattan pintado en una sábana vieja...
Fue el esfuerzo de un aficionado, pero Jackson tenía entonces apenas 13 años de edad. Ahora, a los 43 años, tiene un presupuesto mayor.

Jackson dijo que realizar una nueva versión de "King Kong" ha sido una obsesión de toda su vida...<img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=":D">

La versión de 150 millones de dólares, ahora en producción, es un tributo respetuoso a la original de 1933. Jackson habló con Fay Wray, quien interpretó a Ann en la primera cinta, para invitarla a hacer una aparición especial, pero la actriz falleció antes de poderse realizar.

"Obviamente, hay muchas críticas y expectativas cuando se hace una versión nueva de cualquier película, con el potencial de tener mayores dificultades que 'The Lord of the Rings'", dijo Jackson a Los Angeles Times durante un descanso en el set de "King Kong". "Pero es un sueño hecho realidad. Esa es la verdad".

They baffle [viewers] with special effects and loud noises, eight-frame cuts, zoom in and zoom out… that’s an old-fashioned technique, when you don’t have any quality or concept of the story, you have to doctor it up with all of these tricks that have been used since the Silent Age!”

Harryhausen often cites the original King Kong as his inspiration for getting into moviemaking in the first place. He therefore has a very personal interest in Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson’s upcoming remake of the 1933 film.

“I know Peter Jackson and I think he’ll do a good job,” he says. “There will always only be one King Kong, it was such a unique production. Dino De Laurentiis’s [1976] interpretation, he left all the fantasy out. He thought the only thing that made King Kong popular was the girl and the ape, and that’s not true. The original had so much fantasy and the whole thing hinges on fantasy. [But Jackson’s] in love with the subject as much as I am. He’ll do a good job.” <hr></blockquote>

Peter Jackson opened up his Wellington studios last week to give roughly two hundred people a sneak peek at footage from "King Kong" reports Variety.

All guests, including exhibitor reps, international distributor UIP and a Universal Pictures delegation, were obliged to sign confidentiality agreements. Jackson screened 18 minutes of footage of the $160 million remake, showing off his Weta digital workshop and lavish sound mixing facility.

Displaying some of the miniatures, he explained how he told his tech crew the miniature forest had to show the effect of wind rippling the branches and leaves as the big ape lumbers through it - apparently a feat never pulled off before.

Pues a mi lo único que me inquieta es que esté Jack Black, aunque es cierto que tengo curiosidad por ver como lo hace en un papel "serio".


Por lo demás estoy seguro de que Peter lo hará genial. Creo sinceramente que ha ido a más y espero que no vuelva a ese cine gore en el que empezó (entre otras cosas porque no me gusta <img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=":D"> ). Ha estado a la altura en un reto mucho más dificil como fue ESDLA y ahora se va a salir <img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/palmas.gif ALT=":palmas"> .

Además yo descartaría un pressing catch de monos gigantes y dinosaurios o eso quiero creer.Piquete de Ojos de Mono, patada voladora del T-Rex, ... en fin<img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/chalao.gif ALT=":chalao"> .

De repente tengo muchas ganas de verla.

La web KongisKing.net ha subido Este video que muestra unos segundos del metraje de la pelicula. Dicho metraje fué visto por en un video promocional que PJ presentó a la prensa, distribuidores y otras personas.
