Antonio Banderas acaba de ganar Mejor Actor en la Crítica de Los Ángeles. Nada menos que se ha dejado en la cuneta a Adam Driver como runner up.
Estoy muy contento por este merecido reconocimiento que está teniendo, más allá de que gane o entre finalmente en los Oscars. Bravo!

Como están comentando el twitter, a ver si al final la batalla entre Phoenix y Driver se dirime con un Banderas, tercero en discordia, ganador.

Al menos su nominación tras los premios en Cannes y los de la crítica de Nueva York y Los Ángeles (estos dos premios también auparon a la Huppert, por ejemplo), la veo asegurada.

Viendo la lista de los Critic's Choice pienso que se puede dar el caso de doble nominación para Johansson y que puede darse el caso de ver nominados al Oscar a los emparejados directores, Gerwig y Baumbach (y que yo veo casi casi como favoritos a ganar en guión adaptado y original).

Por muy buena que es Marriage Story, una separación y divorcio lo hemos visto ya, yo lo de Parasitos, en la vida.

Tranquilos, Joaquín Phoenix puede no llevarse ningún premio, tan siquiera ser nominado, luego vendrá el big four y se los llevará, hazaña cometida por Sandra Bullock en 2010.

Premiazo para Jennifer López, ole los caracoles.

Lo de Lupita no tiene sentido, es malgastar una bala. Que sí, que está muy bien pero ya sabemos que no va a ganar un Oscar. Si ya de por si con el género fantástico y de terror es difícil llegar a estar nominada a un Oscar, con una propuesta que flaquea un poco más difícil todavía.

Al final este año Meryl Streep no rascará nada. Este año le tocaba. En lo que va de década nunca ha estado más de 2 años sin estar nominada. Tendrá que ser para 2021, si lo merece.

Joder, qué supersunday! Vaya racha de premios!
Me encanta todo lo que gane Dolor y gloria y en LA se ha llevado dos gordos. Muy difícil que no se lleve la nominación Banderas. Y se la merece.
Y llama mucho la atención (no porque no lo merezca sino porque fue una peli muy temprana, Us) la habitual presencia de Lupita. No se contaba con ella y le ha dado la vuelta al asunto.
Y pro otro lado, Dern y Driver, en Historias de un matrimonio, parece qeu van a estar presentes toda la temporada. Creo que uno de los dos, al menos, se llevará el Oscar. Veremos.
Y Parasite está triunfando en la crítica. Pero todavía no se cómo se recibirá por la Academia.

Taika Waititi es nativo neozelandés, mira para los premios inclusivos.

Habéis escrito que los Critics choice quieren convertirse en los Globos de Oro, premios a los que veo muy sospechosos desde siempre de ser demasiado comprables (corrupción) porque habrá un número limitado de periodistas extranjeros en L.A. Por cierto, que en Italia desde el 60, también se dan.

Creo que hay demasiados premios y que se desprestigian entre sí.
Tras ochenta y muchos años, creo que los Oscar están en franca decadencia.

Sólo nos faltan los premios de mundodvd, ¿ por qué no?
y que vote tu hermana, tu ex, y el vecino del segundo.
