I can't prove it and might be wrong but i think more and more that the projector does not have deinterlacing at the HDMI and RGB-HV inputs, so it can only handle progressive at these.


I ran quite some movies, Dinosaur PAL DVD and Dinosaur 720p TS and I was stunned at the brilliant picturequality. I can't wait for my new screen to arrive. I also ran a 1080i ts which was converted to 720p by the Moonlight elecard software player. This was also stunning but there were quite some de-interlace artifacts from the sw which is quite irritating. This is why I would like to have the computer output 720i so that the projector can deinterlace. Anyone out there with the golden tip?

I have the projector almost a week, starting with svhs, going to component, going to RGB_HV, every time the projector shows that the source is the limitation. I can't wait to try it with a good HDMI and perfect 720 p source.

Oh yeah last but not least, I ran a computergame (hitman2) over the projector and i was stunned at the realism of the colors. I usually run this at an LCD monitor but now on an ISF calibrated projector I forgot to shoot the badguys, I was just looking around adoring the scenery
Again if I moved to quickly (panning) I can see the dithering artifacts, but it doesn't bother me that much as in a movie since I am busy as hell (staying alive).

Bman, parece que este forero de avsforum ha conseguido 1:1 a 50 Hz pero conectado por componentes. A ver si me puedo leer todo el post (ya llevan 28 páginas) y veo información sobre los parámetros del Powerstrip a 50 Hz y conectado por DVI. Puedes leer desde la 25 o 26, las anteriores s�lo pone configuraci�n a 60 Hz.

Sus conclusiones provisionales son:
CONCLUSION PROVISOIRE :

Points positifs : silence de fonctionnement, petit prix pour une matrice DLP 720p, projecteur lumineux, image piquée.

Points négatifs : Règlages usines perfectibles, artefacts DLP, problème de HDMI avec certains lecteurs. ABSENCE DE LENS-SHIFT ! Messieurs les constructeurs, svp si vous voulez concurrencer les LCD 720p pensez à inclure ce dispositif si utile.

Conviene leer el articulo completo pq comenta algunas cosas interesantes como q acepta por HTPC 50 y 60 hz sin problema, q de fabrica no viene muy bien ajustado, q hay q entrar a cambiar la temperatura de color para paliar un efectinf (q alguien con el frances menos oxidado q yo podra explicar mejor) q me ha parecido entender como una hormigueo en zonas claras o grises, q con D65 da 2200 de contraste on<img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/shocked2.gif ALT=":o"> ff, q es muy luminoso y q es nitido y detallado. En fin q conviene leerlo o q lo traduzca alguien con mejor frances q yo.

pues no se yo pero...<img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/inquisitive.gif ALT=":mmmh"> las fotos que sigue poniendo Worf,me siguen sin gustar,ya se que muchas veces comentais que en unas fotos no se puede saber la calidad del proyector,pero el susodicho ya ha puesto unas cuantas y la verdad que creo que hay "otras" fotos que se ven mejor que esas,aunque seguro que al ser mi primer proyector,seguro que alucino con este o con el que sea.<img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/incredulo.gif ALT=":oo">

Comparativa entre el 4805 h31(misma resolucion y caracteristicas parecidas al mt200) y el mt700

dice mas o menos que se ven bastante parecido con el dvd (480p) , que a 720P gana el mt700

yo estuve probando con el mt200 con htpc (quizas no el tiempo suficiente ) y realmente no diria que obtuviese una gran diferencia entre htpc y dvd que compense las molestias de añadir un ordenador a la instalacion , con el mio plv60 1366x768 la diferencia era tan clara que no me planteaba otro reproductor de dvd a pesar de las molestias del htpc.

se ven las altas resoluciones mucho mas beneficiadas por el htpc + que las bajas (1366x768 ,1280x720 ) o solo algunos proyectores, espero que el benq 7700 y el toshiba mt700.????

JAS,
una de las grandes aportaciones q te puede hacer el HTPC a un proyector es el escalado. Logicamente, para un downscaling ( a 480) o un upscaling a 1024*576, en principio no tiene una gran complicacion, con lo q el HTPC en ese sentido esta infrautilizado. Pero el escalado a 1280*720 lo debe hacer mejor un HTPC q un DVD.
Lo q pasa es q cada vez salen mejores los lectores de DVD y cada vez se acercan mas al HTPC.
Por mi parte, creo q volvere a los DVD de sobremesa cuando incorporen HD y el precio sea asequible.

yo tengo clarisimo que que en el momento que me no me aporte una ventaja o gran ventaja le meto una pata que lo pongo en orbita.

Otra de las ventaja es el disco duro y las peliculitas almacenadas.

El asunto es la sinergia que hay entre algunos proyectores y el ordenador los panasonic, por ejemplo tienen especial entendimiento con los ordenadores.

No se si la hay tanto entre los dlps porque hasta ahora las grandes resoluciones estaban reservadas a maquinas de alto precio.

El Toshiba MT700 entra en almacen de Tsohiba España la semana q viene (me lo han dicho desde Toshiba España).

El rollo por lo q me han contado por otro lado es q todavia no saben a q precio.
La buena noticia es q estan regateando a Toshiba Alemania el precio para poder hacerle al competencia a Benq. Aunq dudo mucho q puedan llegar al precio de Benq q es muy, muy agresivo.
Por mi lado, si la diferencia no supera los 300 pitotes me pillare el Toshi pq estoy hasta las mismisimas bolas de esperar.
En fin, la semana q viene sabremos mas.

Como podemos comprobar en la imagen, el tiro es ligeramente diferente al Benq 7700. Para conseguir una Base de 2,7 Mts a 3,10 Mts de distancia debemos abrir más el Zoom q el del Benq 7700 (mirar Post Benq7700)

MT700 Vs H31 Vs 4805

I�m not sensitive to rainbows, but I can see them if I try with most projectors. All three were equal in this regard, with only the occasional glimpse of one for a split second.

Screen door effect is minimal with all three projectors and almost non-existent with the MT700 at any normal viewing distance. The H31 and 4805 become fairly noticeable at 1.5X screen width, but I had no problem with either at 1.7X. YMMV.

There has been much discussion in the Optoma H77 forum about panning artifacts so I�d thought I�d touch on that here. I viewed the now-famous Spiderman 2 poster scene with all three projectors and while there is a difference with the MT700 (some blurring of the posters), I never would have known it if someone didn�t tell me about it. I think a lot of it has to do with the particular DVD, as the same scene viewed on a CRT RPTV shows a frame-by-frame sort of panning. This is not to say that it should be a non-issue for everyone, as different people have different sensitivities. It�s just that for me, it is a non-issue.

I�ve probably forgotten a few things I meant to add to this, so post your questions and I�ll try to answer them if I have the information. In any event, I think most people would be very happy with any of these projectors.
