Este fin de semana he realizado mi revisión anual de la trilogía clásica. Lo normal es en mayo (como debe ser :kieto) pero la nueva fecha de estreno ha cambiado las cosas. Este era el mes del Señor de los Anillos... :picocerrado

A mi solo me quedan ya los Episodios V y VI, y estare listo la medianoche del 17. Quien me lo iba a decir, hace años, que volveria a experimentar toda la locura de un estreno de Star Wars de nuevo... Creo que hasta que no termine el tema principal en la proyeccion (con todo su texto, que apuesto sere incapaz de comprender entero por la ilusion), no empezare a ser consciente que el Episodio VII es una realidad.

Actualmente?? creo que te equivocas. Es justo al revés. Antes había muy pocas pelis en 3D buenas y muchas en 3D malas. Antes las películas tenían el título de "X en 3D" o chorradas por el estilo. Ahora las películas que no son en 3D de verdad dan mil patadas a la mayoría de las pelis antiguas nativas de 3D como Tron Legacy o Up. Sin ir más lejos, Ant-man es un 3D convertido, junto con Guardianes de la Galaxia, y se encuentra al mismo nivel o más que Avatar. La tecnología 3D bien usada da una nueva dimensión a muchas películas, que ganan un realismo tremendo. Por ejemplo, La invención de Hugo, Gravity, Star Trek: en la oscuridad, Antman (ves el mundo de la hormiga de forma increíble), Transformers (ya no ves a los robots como algo borroso en lo que no sabes qué es que y se confunde, con el 3D diferencias cada robot y se ve todo más fluido), así como la mayoría de pelis de animación tienen un 3D muy bueno (Madagascar 3, Como entrenar a tu dragon 1 y 2).Cita:

Ya se habló en otro hilo, pero algunos compañeros han afirmado que la experiencia en 3D ha mejorado mucho con las televisiones OLED de grandes dimensiones. Gente que tenía teles en 3D de hace unos años ahora han pasado a una tele oled 3D, o se han comprado un proyector, y han flipado. Vamos, no se puede comparar con los primeros televisores en 3D que salieron ni con las siguientes hornadas que te daban 7 gafas gratis. Y si ya nos metemos en el mundo de los proyectores FULL HD 3D pasamos a otra dimensión, sobre todo con proyectores Epson u Optoma que están especializados en el 3D. Entre que consigues una pantalla muy superior a cualquier tele actual -esto te mete más en la peli, ya que hay mayor inmersión- y usas gafas activas RF-bastante mejores que las pasivas- tienes hasta mejor 3D que en el cine.
Yo me arrepiento de haber pagado por ver películas como Tron Legacy en 3D en el cine. Pero no me arrepiento de haber reservado la entrada de Star Wars en 3D, ya que entre que la tecnología 3D ha mejorado muchísimo y, al ver el trailer, sentí como si estuviera allí mismo -metido en la nave o en el desierto-. Lo que más me hizo flipar fue al ver cómo se ve el universo en 3D y las naves volando de un lado a otro, alucinante! Espero que la película se vea mínimo como en el trailer.
Además, solo es 1€ más ya que las gafas que pagaste por ver una película anterior se pueden reutilizar. No me parece que sea un sacacuartos, ya que justo es ahora cuando puedes elegir de verla en 2D o 3D. Antes siempre te ponían las pelis primero en 3D, sobre todo en los horarios más demandados, y luego en 2D. Creo que justo estamos en una época buenísima del 3D, la lástima es que hay muchas personas que quedaron defraudadas con algunas pelis 3D chusteras de antes y tienen una mala impresión de esta tecnología.
Al menos no tendrás ese problema para el Episodio VIII, con la que volverán a estrenarlas en mayo :DCita:

Si yo cobrara algún porcentaje por esa publicidad, también me parecería perfecto. Pero dado que no trabajo en el ayuntamiento de Madrid (o quien reciba la pasta), no veo donde está la perfección ahí.
En convertir basicamente una parada de metro en un festival de cine perfecto.

'Star Wars' Premiere Street Closures Are "Bigger Than the Oscars"

While the Star Wars: The Force Awakens world premiere doesn't take place in Hollywood until Monday night, the construction of a massive tent on Hollywood Blvd. is already underway.
Four blocks of the iconic street — from Highland Ave. to La Brea Ave. — were already closed to traffic on Thursday night at 11 p.m. On Friday, a large white tent was being erected on the boulevard, which hosts the famous Hollywood stars on its sidewalk.
As construction continued on Friday afternoon, traffic officers stood on either end of Highland and La Brea, to direct and divert cars to the marked detours, while police officers patrolled the sidewalks, walking through groups of tourists.
"This is definitely bigger than the Oscars," one production manager told THR Friday. The Oscars, held at the end of February, close down one block on Hollywood Blvd., from Highland Ave. to Orange Dr.
Disney and Lucasfilm have not officially told guests which theaters will be used in Hollywood for the premiere. The blocks of Hollywood Blvd. that are closed include three: The Dolby (where the Oscars are held), El Capitan Theater and the TCL Chinese Theater.
In spite of the street closure, the sidewalks on Hollywood Blvd. will remain open through the weekend, allowing foot access to all businesses along that stretch. Public parking at the Hollywood & Highland center also remains open. However some shop owners tell THR that they plan to be closed on Monday, when the actual premiere takes place.
On Friday, street performers on Hollywood Blvd. were already capitalizing on the Star Wars hysteria. A guitar player strummed an acoustic version of the famous John Williams score, while a balloon artist made "lightsabers" for children, which looked less like force-powered weaponry and more like regular swords.
The group of Star Wars fans that has been camping out in front of the TCL Chinese theater since Dec. 5 plan to stay there until a 7 p.m. Dec. 17 screening of the J.J. Abrams-directed franchise film. They will have to move for the premiere, but the TCL theater will hold their camping equipment until they are allowed to return.
According to camper Caroline Ritter, they will be allowed back into the TCL courtyard to sleep late on Monday night, from midnight until 6 a.m.
It was not easy to sleep on Wednesday night, when the setup for the premiere first began, but the campers didn't mind too much. Ritter said: "Lucasfilm bought us pizza, so that was nice."

Ahead of world premiere, Star Wars: The Force Awakens smashes presale records
The new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, is poised to break UK box office records after racking up advance ticket sales of more than 500,000 at one cinema chain alone.
Odeon, the UK’s largest chain with more than 100 cinemas nationwide, reported the figure ahead of the release of JJ Abrams’ new instalment on Thursday. It is double the company’s previous record, which was held by October’s Spectre.
The chain will stage close to 5,000 screenings across the movie’s opening weekend, with the first shows beginning at 12.01am on Thursday at 113 cinemas nationwide. Tickets are still available to see the film on its first day of release, but only between the unsociable hours of 3am and 6am.
“Odeon is to become a 24-hour operation ahead of the launch of Star Wars: The Force Awakens – which we expect to become the biggest film of all time, and promises to be a landmark cinematic event” said Andy Edge, commercial director at Odeon UK & Ireland.
The UK’s third-largest chain, Vue Cinemas, has reported selling more than 355,000 tickets in advance, also breaking a previous record of 270,278 for February’s Fifty Shades of Grey.
James Bond adventure Skyfall currently holds the record for the highest-grossing film of all time at the UK box office, with £102.9m in receipts. The Force Awakens, which world premieres in Los Angeles on Monday, is widely expected to be the year’s highest-grossing film and could yet challenge Avatar’s $2.7bn world record for the mantle of highest-grossing movie of all time.
Industry experts believe the film needs to make at least $1.5bn to be considered a success on Wall Street. However, sources close to Disney, which bought Star Wars and other Lucasfilm franchises for $4bn (£2.5bn) in October 2012, have told the Wall Street Journal that the marketing spend on the Force Awakens will actually be less than Hollywood would usually spent on major blockbusters, suggesting the saga effectively sells itself.
In one of his final published interviews prior to the film’s premiere, Abrams told the Los Angeles Times he was confident in his work, no matter how well the new episode is received (reviews are embargoed until 8am GMT on 16 December).
“It’s like I’m standing at the doorway of the airplane door and we’re about to open the door,” he said. “Do I hope the parachute opens? Yes. But every time I feel remotely paralysed by the noise or anticipation or expectation of it, I just look at the work I’ve seen done and I’m just grateful.”
Abrams said he had been most excited by the “homespun” approach to creating effects on the Force Awakens. “In that shot in the trailer where Daisy [Ridley] and John [Boyega] are running in the desert, everything you’re seeing in that shot, with the exception of the little teeny-tiny TIE Fighters and the blasters, it’s all in camera,” he said. “The explosions are all practical and real. The entire set you’re seeing was in Abu Dhabi.”
Where the much-derided Star Wars prequel trilogy relied almost entirely on CGI for its planetary vistas, alien creatures and epic battles, Abrams said digital effects were largely used to complement more traditional techniques on the new episode. “This is not a movie lacking in amazing CG work,” he said. “But what was so cool was how CG was often used to remove puppeteers or take out wires or rigs or legs sticking out of a creature.”

Also remember, "Avatar" had a huge Eastcoast winter storm and didn't beat "I am Legend" December record. It was anticipated but not anticipated like this. This is also the first live action Star Wars film to open on a Friday in the US. Meanwhile this year (Cough Global Warming Cough), The Eastcoast is pushing 70 degrees in mid-december, lol.
