Reports from the Skywalker Ranch inform that film director George Lucas plans to add a few changes in the upcoming DVD release of
Star Wars Ep. III: Revenge of the Sith.
One of the most notable of all is the intention to eliminate all colour in the already-famous Order 66 execution footage, leaving it in black-and-white. It is rumored that Lucas intend to include a CGI image of Yoda in each of the Jedi deaths, wearing a colourful red robe amidst the grays.
This last-minute idea, no doubt inspired in the work of his fellow director Steven Spielberg's
Schindler's List, is supposed to add more drama to the whole sequence, showing us that the poweful jedi Yoda is present (in a figurative way) in all the deaths of his comrades and feels them as his own.
