Recuerdo el alboroto de Belle Epoque cuando la Cruz emigró a Hollywood (que entonces era como ir a Wonderland) (ypero mola L.A. eh! ) y la Verdú pasaba.
Si el tema era claro: que es mejor actriz pero sin necesidad de ponernos aquí todos, sin camiseta, a discutir.
Además ha protagonizado la mejor escena del cine español (si alguien me lo discute le espero en la Plaza de los Olivos número 2, en Alcazar de los Voll Damms, provincia de Damm).

Es una actriz extraordinaria. Intelectualmente hablando también merece la pena, ver entrevistas suyas es un placer. Y parece ser una cachonda mental cuando la situación se presta a ello, así que lo tiene todo.
Yo tengo una teoría acerca de lo que ha pasado: Del Toro ha hablado con la Verdú y le ha aconsejado que acepte el papel en la peli de su colega Muschietti. No descarto incluso que haya estado presente en las reuniones vía Skype o algo. Vamos que se ha formado una coalición argentino-mejicana para garantizar la participación española en el proyecto.

Me encanta la escena de Amantes, pero joder, uno se pone a pensar en El verdugo, El espíritu de la colmena, La caza... y no la pongo ni en el top 10.
Y ojo, que el papel seguramente sea corto, pero está claro que es muy importante, no solo en la película, sino en todo el universo DC. Digamos queSpoiler:

La escena de Amantes en el top 10 del cine español, en respuesta al órdago de SynchMe he perdido. ¿Qué es lo que no pones ni el top 10?. Amantes como peli (estamos de acuerdo), o a Verdú como interprete (no estamos de acuerdo).
Maribel Verdú como actriz me gusta mucho. Además es un mito erótico de la adolescencia (sigue siendo impresionante).
La adoro también. Y eso que es solo media película, no le dejaron rodar la segunda mitad de la película, la que transcurría en el sur, precisamente. #ReleasetheEriceCut
