Bastante emotivo el momento de Michael J. Fox. Y mucho mérito lo de dar visibilidad a esa durísima enfermedad (como todas las degenerativas).
Y precioso y justo, también el premio a Peter Weir. Y por fin, el Oscar a Diane Warren, tras tantas nominaciones sin premio. Gran compositora de numerosos éxitos comerciales.

Lo de la gala del año pasado, para mí, fue vergonzoso. La Academia podría recular un poco más y volver a entregar en la gala sus premios honoríficos.

Completamente de acuerdo. Espero que ese gran error haya servido para poner en valor a todos los gremios que dan forma a una película.
Los premios honoríficos también deberían ser recibidos en directo, porque hay gente que se ha merecido en distintas ocasiones el premio dorado y no ha tenido la fortuna de recibirlo. Y lo digo a riesgo de que pueda haber polémicas (como aquella del premiado Elia Kazan, donde se mezclaron su gran categoría como director y su pasado delator).
 
Las posibles polémicas en torno a los premiados, para mí, es un tema diferente a que dichos premios honoríficos se entreguen de tapadillo, que como bien indicas, si los premiados se merecen el premio, qué menos que entregárselo durante la ceremonia, no dos meses antes.

Yo creo que lo hacen para hacer la ceremonia más rápida. Pero queda igual de sosa.
En realidad a la gente sólo le interesa saber quien gana. Ni números musicales, ni chistes sin gracia, ni historias raras...
Poner algunos premios como los honoríficos (la inmensa mayoría bien merecidos) en fechas diferentes es para mi hasta una falta de respeto.
 
Pues yo casi que los prefiero así, porque en la gala estarían demasiado empañados por el resto de mierda que pongan.

No, si lo citaba como ejemplo extremo de que para mí, siempre han de aparecer en escena los premiados, incluidos los honoríficos y no tenerlos grabados y aparecer, en el mejor de los casos, en la platea saludando.
Está claro que esos intentos de meter tijeretazo es para aligerar la gala, pero en mi opinión se llega a desnaturalizar la cosa, a quitarle la sustancia de lo que supone el cine.
También puede ser que la nuestra es la última generación que amaba e idolatraba el cine...
 
Sí, tomaszapa, estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo en lo referente en que si a alguien le han dado el premio honorífico (más allá de posibles polémicas) al menos que se lo entreguen en la ceremonia.

Algunos comentarios tas estas últimas nominaciones y premios:

· Veo a Farrell, como mínimo nominado.

· Yeoh parece que puede ser la que evite que Blanchett se lleve un tercer Oscar.

· Alcarràs no aparece entre las nominadas (una pena), pero sí Close (una alegría)

· Tal vez tras unos años de premio gordo para películas, digamos minoritarias, puede que se quiera premiar a una película que ha pegado muy fuerte (Top Gun. Maverick) y que, en mi opinión, me parece mejor película que la que ganó el OScar la pasada edición.

Por cierto, me encantaría que Spielberg con este proyecto más personal, tuviera ese tercer Oscar en el apartado de dirección.

Sí, aún está por conocer la tapada de la temporada que puede llevarse el gato al agua. Pero también creo que, tras unos años premiando a mejor película a películas digamos "pequeñas", se puede querer dar un giro premiando a un blockbuster de calidad (que ya veremos si tambi´ne está por ahí Avatar 2 que parece que las críticas y reacciones están siendo muy buenas).

Yo también creo que Spielberg puede tener su tercer Oscar cerca y que ese sea el premio (junto con un posible quinto Oscar para Williams) para la película. El pato parce que lo va a pagar Michelle Williams por llevarla como principal en vez de secundaria.

Puede que esta vez Avatar El sentido del agua gane como mejor pelicula y más con el sistema de voto ponderado para mejor pelicula.

Yo lo de la pobre Michelle Williams no lo entiendo, a la pobre la han dejado sin opciones practicamente. Blanchett y Yeoh me parece que va ser un duelo interesante aunque es pronto y puede surgir alguien mas en disputa aun asi creo que a la Blanchett le queda recorrido y no descartaria el tercero, a ver como sigue la temporada de premios.

Farrell puede dar la campanada este año, aunque yo en plan sentimental se lo daria a Brendan Fraser que espero que no se olviden de el.

Ojala Spielberg se lleve el premio que tambien llevamos unos añitos que algunos directores premiados....en fin....se echa de menos algun grande...

Por ultimo a mi tambien me gustaria que este año no hubiese tanto reparto y hubiese una pelicula "grande" que se llevase bastantes premios, tampoco acaparar todos en plan Titanic o ESDLA pero es que estos ultimos años ha sido un pitorreo con los Codas, Moonlights y demases....A ver si este año que los titos Cruise y Cameron han resucitado los blockbusters de calidad cambia la cosa un poco.
