Por cierto, en los Globos compiten los primos Randy (Marriage Story) y Thomas Newman (1917). Esto ya ocurrió en los Ocars de 1996, cuando se diferenció Score Dramático y de Comedia o Musical, los dos por esta última categoría, Randy por Toy Story y Thomas por Héroes a la fuerza.

Bueno, pues después de los Globos y del SAG, me parece que a menos que nos sorprendan los Oscars, Robert de Niro está perdiendo chances frente a Christian Bale. Scarlett tiene dos oportunidades, y Lupita se confirma aquí, después de que los Globos pasasen de ella, como candidata casi a batir... En definitiva, nada es definitivo :D
 
Las nominaciones al Oscar suelen coincidir mucho con la de los SAG, así que casi casi diría que sólo se dará un cambio por categoría o ni eso. Tal vez la ausencia más destacada sea la de Antonio Banderas, yo creo que debido a que los votantes del SAG son más heterogéneos (además de intérpretes votan otros gremios) y diría que menos internacionales que lo que es ahora los Oscars. Yo creo que en los BATFA y en los Oscar sí estará nominado 8croe que en la plaza de Bale, a Egerton le veo más nominado).

Habrá que ver si el efecto Globo de Oro conseguido por Los papas dos se refleja finalmente en nominaciones para Pryce y Hopkins.

En el resto de categorías creo que no habrá muchos cambios.

Y parece que Johansson, este año no va a conseguir su primera nominación sino que parece que conseguirá la dos primeras.

Para nada estoy de acuerdo, Nicole ha tenido trabajos buenos que no han sido reconocidos. El año pasado tuvo un papel protagónico (Destroyer) y otro secundario (Identidad perdida) muy buenos y fueron ignorados por la academia. También ha tenido sonoros ignores por parte de la academia como en The paperboy (nominada al globo de oro y al SAG) o Todo por un sueño, uno de sus mejores papeles (nominada al SAG, al Bafta y al CC).

Me gustan mucho ambas actrices, pero no tienen nada que ver en como han llevado sus carreras. Nicole Kidman con 52 años ostenta 4 nominaciones al Oscar, de los cuales ha ganado 1. Con 52 años Meryl Streep acumulaba ya 12 nominaciones y 2 premios, las mismas nominaciones que consiguió Katherine Hepburn en toda su carrera.

Si hay alguna actriz con quien pueda compararse Meryl en cuestión de Oscars es Katherine Hepburn, por esa cuarta estatuilla que a Meryl se le resiste. Al resto de mortales les queda muuucho camino por delante.

Hubo un tiempo que pensé que Kate Winslet podría ser una digna sucesora de Meryl Streep, no paraba de acumular nominaciones, pero desde hace años que se ha quedado oxidada. Actualmente pienso que la única que le sigue a la zaga es Cate Blanchett, por calidad interpretativa y trayectoria.

Bueno, hoy en día hay mucho talento y las actrices despuntan a una edad cada vez más temprana. Saoirse Ronan con 25 años tiene 3 nominaciones y seguramente se llevará su cuarta nominación. Jennifer Lawrence con 30 años acumula 4 nominaciones y un Oscar.

Si tenemos en cuenta que Meryl Streep consiguió su primera (de 21) nominación con 30 años, estas actrices podrían tener una prolífica carrera y fructífera en premios.

El factor clave pienso que es no estancarse en una etapa de sus vidas. Actrices como Natalie Portman, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kate Winslet, Jennifer Lawrence, estuvieron años o tuvieron una época de auge que estaban nominadas una y otra vez y luego de repente han estado varios años estancadas o que no han hecho nada relevante de ser nominable.
En ese aspecto, Meryl ha sabido renovarse, sobretodo para las mujeres de avanzadas edad que es tan difícil mantenerse en el candelero e interpretar papeles de mujeres de distintas edades y condiciones de manera magistral. Hay muchas que "cuando se les pasa el arroz", por ejemplo, el de mujer atractiva y sexy que vende más en cine, es mucho más difícil verla en activo.

Así pues tiempo al tiempo, pero sí, de entrada Saoirse Ronan o Jennifer Lawrence son meros ejemplos que lo tienen todo a su favor para tener una gran carrera.
