<blockquote>Quote:<hr>The Man of Steel is back in the gossip columns right now as a 'shortlist of six' potentials, most if not all rumoured to be unknowns, test out for Warner Bros. in the next few days to put on the "Superman" tights. 'Smile Face Poster' is back with his take on the latest rumours - some new information, some confirmations and some corrections to already circulating gossip appear in this fresh rumour:

"Boy how the world changes. I am here to confirm what Superman-V said that there are actors (persumably a mix/match of the actors who have already tested and some who haven't) trying out for Superman. Warner Bros. is picking up this project again. Things are moving forward. Jon Peters is producing. McG is directing.

Anyway on the subject of casting. Even though the Tom Welling/Alfred Gough rumour was shot down days ago, I can say that Welling is among the bunch who is trying out this week to don the cape. Don't know how, so don't ask, but he's in there all right along with McG's favourite Henry Cavill.

Did Gyllenhaal test? Apparently (despite his recent comments to the contrary). Is he among the new bunch? No. Kutcher and Fraser are likely canditates to have tested again but whether they have or not remains to be seen. Eion Bailey is testing also.

Here's the thing: Biggie Fan Favourite Tom Welling's "Smallville" schedule is being worked out to see if he can shoot "Superman" and also do the show. Warners are seriously considering the idea of Welling doing both the show and the movie, even though he doesn't want too. Welling may have gotten a push though, from someone or something - and a big one at that.

The other roles? HELL NO! The biggie's on Supes right now. Depp is still involved (either as Luthor or Jor-El) etc., etc. The WB wants to cast Supes and he WILL be cast. Think June-August soon....or sooner"<hr></blockquote>

Ea.

<blockquote>Quote:<hr>Break-dancer (excuse me I’m about to have another of those irrepressible giggle fits) turned Action-hero wannabe Vin Diesel could be the new Lex Luthor, according to a report on CHUD.

The site says the “Chronicles of Riddick” star is top of new producer Neal Mortiz’s wish-list. Mortiz worked with Diesel on the hairless hunk’s first major pic, “Fast and the Furious”.

“With the Chronicles of Riddick franchise turning out to not actually be one, getting into another high-profile gig with a built-in recognition factor may not be such a bad idea for the Vin-man”, says the site.

At the same time, the site says rumours about Warner wanting TV Clark Kent, Tom Welling [“Smallville”] to play the character on the big screen have an ounce of truth to them. “The suits have also expressed interest in slipping chiseled Smallville star Tom Welling into the costume of their hero (despite testing of other actors for the part), but are concerned with the audience confusion that could arise from changing actors in the key roles around him.”

Diesel, Luthor? McG, Director? Moritz, Producer? Two tickets for anything but thanks!<hr></blockquote>

<span style="color:red;font-family:verdana;font-size:x-large;">AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!!</span>

<img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/puke.gif ALT=":raba"> <img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/bigcry.gif ALT="">

<blockquote>Quote:<hr>"I heard tonight from a WB friend at the screening, that McG is out of SUPERMAN and Warner's wants to make it a mandate to get Michael Bay. Apparently he's looking for something big, as he's having trouble getting the budget he wants for his "Island" project at DreamWorks.

Apparently part of the reason Moritz came on-board Supes was that Bay was attached to direct "I Am Legend" for him and former partner, "Harry Potter" franchise and WB-based producer David Heyman. With Adelstein gone from Original, and Sony having inked a deal with DeLuca (which pissed Neal off), he and Heyman are mulling re-teaming up. It doesn't hurt that Neal has close ties to potential Lex Luthor Vin Diesel and was shooting "Stealth" in Australia, where WB wants to do "Superman".

I know for a fact Neal loves Australia, and he's been trying to convince studios to shoot a lot of his productions there. Heyman, like every other producer on the WB lot, has been trying to get on Supes. Aside from the Potter films, what's going to put him where Joel Silver can't get, is his relationship with Neal and they're combined relationship with Bay".<hr></blockquote>

<img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/alivio.gif ALT="">
