El estreno 3D de Star Wars I se meteria tercera, y en cuarto lugar la secuela de Viaje al Centro de la Tierra con 6.5 millones.

Si se confirman esas predicciones (alguien de la Fox dijo que esperaban 20 millones para este primer fin de semana) el Episodio I pasaría de la 7a a la 5a posición en la lista de todos los tiempos norteamericana, superando a E.T. y a Shrek 2. Y a tiro de piedra del Episodio IV.

A nivel mundial subiría del 18 al 15.

Ayer se estrenó en USA y de manera algo discreta THIS MEANS WAR, y quedó 4ª. THE VOW hizo más de 11,5 millones, lo cual está muy bien.

SW EP1 3D lleva unos 70 millones en todo el mundo, 33 en Norteamérica y 37 fuera. En NA ha superado ya el Ep IV como película más taquillera de la saga SW tras casi 35 años. A nivel mundial (donde ya era la más taquillera desde su estreno en 1999) llegará oficialmente a los 1000 en unos días. La primera película de la saga en llegar a los 1000, sin ajustar, claro.

Buen apunte el del ajuste. Si ajustamos el Ep IV queda algo así:

En los foros de boxoffice (los nuevos, que es una réplica de los que había en el sitio original) aunque suelen ser muy optimistas, y abundan los fansboys de todo tipo, están muy convencidos con Los Vengadores y Spider-Man, con cifras cercanas a los 1000. Yo sigo viendo más ambos productos como carne de 700 a 800 aunque es cierto que la popularidad de Spider-Man fuera de los Estados Unidos es enorme y es muy querido por los niños.

Otro hit para 2012 será Brave, la nueva película de Pixar. No encuentro su presupuesto ni en imdb ni en la wiki pero lo normal es que se vaya a los aprox 200 millones. Se trata de una película nueva, la primera desde Up en 2009, por lo que, siguiendo el patrón de sus tres últimas originales, y contando con buena crítica, podría estar en la liga de los +700/800.
