Hola peña,
bueno,por lo visto bastante gente se está interesando por los TTs...por lo que me ha entrado ganas de aportar mi modesta contribución.Deciros que aunque las gangas existen,si uno quiere un TT que pueda manejar 720 pa'riba,en general,y es algo normal,se tendrá que gastar más de 1000 euros,dependiendo por supuesto del estado general en cuanto a tubos,electronica,etc.Los 5.5'' y los 7'' van muy bien para el DVD,pero si se quiere tener la posibilidad de ver 720p o 1080i con calidad,el paso a los 8'',y si puede ser con focus electromagnetico,es imprescindible.Los Barco 801 por ejemplo se negocian actualmente unos 1500-2000 euros,son de focus electroestatico,por lo que no llegan a la precisión de un 808 o un G70,cuyo precio ronda más los 3000,hablando siempre con buenos tubos.Yo pagué el mio 750 euros,pero con 2 tubos medio tostados,cada tubo valiendo unos 900 euros.Un buen 9'' pasa los 3000 euros alegremente,siendo su precio normal unos 4000 euros pa'riba.Pero pasan el 1080p sin dificultad.
Los mas conocidos son los Sony y los Barco,y recomiendo que si uno quiere hacerse con un TT se quede con estas dos marcas,por calidad y sobre todo por ser maquinas conocidas por otros foreros y por tener repuesto seguro en caso de problema.Además Barco sigue teniendo un buen servicio tecnico por si hace falta.Se suele decir que los Sony tienen colorimetria más saturada que los Barcos,siendo estos algo más luminosos y silenciosos.Pero en realidad se equivalen.

En fin,el tema da para mucho más,pero creo que para alguién que está buscando su primer TT esto le puede despejar alguna duda,aparte de todo lo que ya se haya dicho.

Solo deciros que aunque es verdad que el TT ha muerto,me hice con uno porque estaba cansado de ver como mi anterior DLP,aunque bueno,cada seis meses estaba superado por otra maquina más barata.Y es algo que sigue pasando.Los digitales todavia no han llegado a su madurez,y actualmente,si se quiere la mejor imagen a un precio asequible,el TT es la unica solución.

Pues bien, mi "angelito" Panasonic tiene en sus tres tubos algo así como 24800horas (si, casi veinticincomil) y el técnico que vino a verlo esta mañana para decidir si se atrevía con él, al mirar (por curiosidad) por los cañones de 7" me dijo que estaba a la mitad de su vida operativa

Para vuestra información, yo, desde el primer dia lo he empleado tanto para ver la tele + VHS (lo que había antaño) como para ver la tele+satelite+DVD de hoy dia. Es decir, que no lo he guardado en un rincón para ver solo peliculas y taparlo con una sábana hasta el próximo dia y ya está (puedo jurar y perjurar, que ha habido domingos en los que se ha encendido a las 9 de la mañana y se ha apagado a las 12 de la noche)

Pues bien, descontando el valor del aparato (que ni os cuento en esos iempos y en nuestro pais), el único consumible será los tres tubos (bueno y esta avería, creo por un pico de sobretension en la red). El precio de los tres tubos (nuevos) se puede conseguir en USA por unos 1200Euros+portes.

Asi pues, si hago caso del técnico, y le añado (por ejemplo) otras 10000horas muy "conservadoramente".... antes de decidirme a cambiarlos, habré sumado unas 35000horas que a 1200Euros supone algo así como poco más de 3 céntimos de euro por hora. Es decir que ver una película de 2 horas supone un coste de 10 pesetas de las de entonces!

No creo que haya nada que supere a un tritubo en economía a largo plazo.

Por cierto, no penseis que es una patata, ya que cuando le metí un lector DVD progresivo a proyectar, lo hizo sin más miramientos, con lo que sus 35Khz de barrido ya supuso un acertado adelanto "a lo que pudiera venir".
Y de la calidad, bueno, en brillo cualquier "digital" se lo lleva de calle, ya que 500 lúmenes no dan para mucho, pero su contraste de 12000/1 es un sueño casi inalcanzable para cualquier tecnología "de bombillas".

Decir que en al menos seis ocasiones estuve tentado de comprar un DLP, pero por menos de 6000Euros no había nada que superara a mi vetusto tritubo (me persone "in-situ" a salas de demostración, o sea que puedo hablar con sentido).

Perdonad por la paliza, pero es que estaba inspirado. Los pro-LCD no os lo tomeis a mal... todo lo contrario, mi deseo es que algún dia lleguen a la calidad de un tritubo y a un precio asequible tanto en compra como en mantenimiento.

Por cierto, el sony G70 pesa 83 kilos y el G90 110Kgs, ninguna de esas maravillas pesa 130kgs!
(lo se, por que ando en trapicheos para comprarme uno de ocasion en USA... por aquello de mejorar).

Lo que no ve tan claro es que haya solicitado "instancia familiar" para un presupuesto de unos 3000Euros... ya que tiene un par de amigas que le chinchan con sus respectivos proyectores superguays. Yo muy diplomáticamente, le dije "cariño, ningún problema, vamos a visitarles y de paso vemos alguna película por la patilla".
Ayer (domingo) estuvimos en casa de el que se suponía tenía la mejor compra (un Mitsubishi HC900 de 2000Euros).

Al regresar a casa, lo primero que hizo fue ir al botiquín, ya que me dijo que tenía una jaqueca terrible!! (menos mal si me pasa a mi igual no se lo cree porque piensa que es una excusa).


Al preguntarle que qué le había parecido, muy por lo bajini me dijo "vale, tu mandas, tienes razón, decide tu, pero por lo más sagrado que sea lo más pequeñito posible!". Ella no sabe que voy a por un 8" o 9" (glups!)

Añadir que mi mujer al principio no entendía porqué al acabar la película apagaron el proyector y encendieron un televisor normal para ver la tele....


He sido perdonado de la "condena" de la visita a casa de su segunda amistad (de esta hubiera salido yo con un dolor de cabeza más gordo, pero por su dueña ya que es una plasta de las de verdad)

Bueno, gracias. Sigo con las pesquisas. La verdad es ahora tengo a tres candidatos, el Sony G70, el NEC 9 PG Xtra y el Barco 1208/2.
Ni dudarlo que el G70 es superior, pero el disponible parece que tiene bastante batalla (el vendedor me garantiza sólo unas 7000horas cuando para el NEC y el Barco más de 10000, lo cual en uso real puede ser el doble para cada uno de ellos): ya se sabe a más lúmenes, menos vida...

No se, me lo tomaré con calma... o hasta que el mono por ver alguna película no sea controlable .

Por favor acláralo.
Por cierto estoy siguiendo el rastro a un Sony Vph1272Qm, del año 98, por unos 3000 €, que os parece la oferta y el cacharro, ¿lo conoceis?

Lo de Time lo comento por que a esos precios el tio se puede comprar un par de juegos... de tubos en buen estado...

En concreto me refiero Bladerunner a estos dos que estuve mirando y están en muy buen estado... salvo que por almacenaje están un poco llenos de polvo... cosa no preocupante si dispones de un simple aspirador.

Por los momentos seguiremos tirando tal como estan, he cambiando los ventiladores a unos mas silenciosos pero me fui al otro extremo, y hacen tan poco ruido que ha desemascarado otros ventiladores con un ruido mucho mas agudo y molesto.... <img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/sad3.gif ALT=":((("> asi que he hecho un max mix con otros ventiladores que tenia y ahora esta la cosa mucho mejor , tiene un agradable ruido que no molesta casi nada.

basta ver como està el mercado de los TTs de segunda mano para darse cuenta que son maquinas en via de exticción.Hace años que las principales marcas han dejado de fabricarlos,aparte de Barco.Y a la velocidad a la que va el desarollo de los nuevos digitales,dudo mucho que la suprema calidad de los TTs no esté igualada dentro de poco.Tios que tienen G90 "stackeados" quedaron boquiabiertos viendo el Qualia004 en el ultimo CES y más de un propietario de G90 se planteó quitarse su TT por un Dila JVC.En fin,cosas de la vida.
Pero esta realidad nos ha permitido,a nosotros pobres mortales de economia limitada,acceder a maquinas excepcionales,cuya calidad aún no está superada.

A mi me la suda si el TT está muerto o superado.La verdad es que la calidad de imagen que tengo es excepcional,me satisface plenamente.Y estoy enamorado de este trasto.Pero seré el primero en sacar al G70 por la ventana sin miramientos para dejar el sitio a un triDLP o un Dila o un Led de 3000 euros de 3 kilos y el tamaño de una caja de zapatos.

no digo nada... ya que yo sólo he visto el Qualia en revistas...

Pero tengo una en que hicieron pruebas (como si fuera un diario) durante una semana. Uno de los días lo enfrentaron a un G90... las conclusiones fueron que para unas cosas estaba mejor el G90 y para otras el Qualia....

La balanza por facilidad de utilización e instalación se decantaba por el Qualia... pero sólo por eso...<img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/laleche.gif ALT=":laleche">

Bueno lo tuyo es de masocas???
Coñe... por el precio que estás barajando tienes dos opciones...:
- Compras un 1272, de los que he visto yo (que estaba mi mujer diciendome que se veía mejor que el nuestro) por 1300€ que tienen 2600hrs y te sobra dinero para comprarte otros dos juegos de tubos nuevos... y tienes el proyector para estrenarlo otras dos veces... La máquina apenas sufre por el uso y prácticamente lo único que se desgasta son los tubos...

- Compras un 808 de barco que es un 8" y deja al sony en bragas además de tener ajuste electromagnetico con lo cual las imágenes son mucho más definidas... ya puse una foto de este aparato. Está pidiendo alrededor de los 3000€ y tiene 800hrs. Que a mi en principio lo de las horas me la trae floja pues han podido <span style="text-decoration:underline">resetear el chasis</span> y que muestre las horas que les de la gana.... lo que hace falta es ver el estado de los tubos y no las horas.
