¿Truco? En una OLED la luz OLED en HDR/DV SIEMPRE, y con siempre es SIEMPRE debe estar en 100, de lo contrario lo jodes todo, si no esta en 100 por defecto es algo rarisimo

Una OLED esta falta de Nits, la c8 alcanza los 640 en picos si no recuerdo mal... Por eso es una television que a oscuras se ve de lujo, porque por el contraste, aun falta de luminosidad cuando hay algun fotograma que requiere de todo el potencial de la pantalla, destaca mas

Personalmente estoy a esperas de ver que tal la Philips 9636... Picos de 2000 nits y microled, ademas de soportar TODOS los modos HDR que hay en el mercado actual, ademas de que por primera vez incluira calibracion calman, asi que es un plus

En los OLED LG de 2016 , 2017 y 2018, la luz oled en Dolby Vision por defecto está a 50 en todos los modos de imagen. En tu E6 puedes comprobarlo. En HDR10 por defecto está a 100. 50 es el equivalente a 100 en el modo Dolby Vision en estos modelos por como Dolby y LG crearon los ajustes, y se recomienda no subirla ni bajarla. Pero yo sé la pongo a 100 en modo cine. Por eso dije truco, porque técnicamente estoy tocando lo que no debo.

A partir de la gama de 2019, Dolby Vision ya viene por defecto con la luz oled a 100.



OLED Light, Contrast and Brightness should be left at default in the HDR10 and Dolby Vision picture modes as adjusting them alters the way the TV tone maps that content.




For some reason LG made it so that in Dolby Vision, 50 setting is normal and actually acts like the 100 setting in HDR10. It has something to do with scene by scene tone mapping of Dolby Vision, but it is confusing.

Anyway, in Dolby Vision mode, an OLED light setting of 50 will output the same maximum brightness in highlights just as HDR10 at 100, so don't worry about it. Weird but true

Raising Dolby Vision above 50 won't produce a brighter image highlights, but the picture brightness will be off, so no benefit to do so. Leave it at 50. On the other hand, a 100 setting in HDR10 is the proper setting, because it just means the brightest parts will be maxed out, as they should, and darker parts will be dark as they should.
