Bueno, cuando Obi Wan lucha con él en episodio III, ya no es Anakin, ya es Darth Vader, y tampoco le mata.
I'd imagine the whole world was one big machine. Machines never come with any extra parts, you know. They always come with the exact amount they need. So I figured, if the entire world was one big machine, I couldn't be an extra part. I had to be here for some reason.(HUGO)

Bueno nos olvidamos de que seguramente Lucas se sacó la paternidad de Vader de la manga después de la primera película. Es que sino, la charla de Obi Wan con Luke en el IV cuando le dice Un joven Jedi llamado Darth Vader, que fue discípulo mío hasta que se desvió al mal y que ayudó al Imperio a perseguir y exterminar a los Caballeros Jedi, fue el que traicionó y asesinó a tu padre es un poco forzada si lo comparamos con los hechos revelados en el V y VI.
Que luego está el tema de la metáfora y tal... Pero es demasiado rebuscado para el tono de la saga.

Yo también veo muy claro que Lucas no sabía que Vader era el padre de Luke en el episodio IV. Siempre me ha parecido que hay mucha leyenda en que tenía escrita la historia entera. Puede que tuviera una idea general muy amplia de cómo podía ser, pero no de forma específica.
Para mí pasa a ser Vader cuando se entrega al Emperador y le ayuda a matar a Windu (de hecho, es en esa escena cuando Palpatine le "bautiza" como Darth Vader). Lo primero que hace es cargarse a los niños jedi, así que yo diría que ahí queda ya poco de Anakin.

Queda poco de Anakin pero quiere seguir volviendo con Padme con lo que dentro de su corazón sigue teniendo una luz para poder llevar una vida esperada.
Cuando las máquinas se lo llevan deformado para ponerle la máquina de respiración él ya piensa que Padme está muerta, con lo que la luz se apaga y sólo se enciende cuando sabe su hijo/s están vivos.
Pueden ser puntos de vista pero aunque El Emperador ya le ponga el sobrenombre de Vader su imagen sigue siendo la de Anakin y con la armadura negra su imagen ya no es la de Anakin.

No, ahí aún no sabe lo que le ha pasado a Padme. De hecho, cuando se despierta, lo primero que hace es preguntar por ella, y el Emperador dice que él mismo la mató en un ataque de rabia, y entonces es cuando da el grito y rompe todas las bombonas de cristal.

Cierto Jane, hace ya un tiempo que no la veo y no es como la primera trilogía que casi me sé de memoría.
Pues mejor todavía, cuando se levanta El Emperador mata toda la esperanza que podía haber en que siguiera siendo Anakin.

Desde luego los libros de Rinzler están siendo una mina de oro en cuanto a material gráfico se refiere. Yo tengo los tres en versión electrónica (para el iPad), y valen cada euro que pagué por ellos.
Ya se que las precuelas no son tan "míticas" para el aficionado, pero me encantaría que hicieran algo parecido con éllas. Si con la trilogía original hay tanta fotografía inédita, con estas últimas debe haber cosas alucinantes ...

Hola,
no hay mucho más (creo) que debatir sobre el tema de la paternidad de Luke... Yo siempre pensé (antes del Ep V, eso da a entender en "La Guerra de las Galaxias") que "el malo", Darth Vader, mató al padre de Luke (un "tal" Anakin -eso es todo lo que se cuenta de él-). En el V (y "de extrangis", según cuentan...) se dice que "ése", el "malo" es realmente el padre de Luke (el protagonista). Y es YA cuando se "intuye" (no le veo mayor complejidad, la verdad) que Anakin y Vader son la misma persona, que ese Anakin cayó al lado oscuro, como Darth Vader, "matando" a su anterior ser/personalidad ("jedi", lado luminoso de la Fuerza). (Vamos, que al "nacer" Darth Vader, "muere" Anakin).
No le veo mucha complicación. La complicación quizá sea el cómo lo desarrolla en las precuelas, que realmente no es lo que, al menos yo, esperaba a priori de lo que se daba a entender en la trilogía "verdadera". Pero eso es otro tema.

Como bien comentáis, gran parte de la culpa la tiene Lucas por los ajustes que tuvo que ir haciendo a la historia según avanzaba tras la revelación de Vader, pero esta viñeta resume muy bien la opinión que me ha ido quedando de Kenobi con los años
